What's the weather like in Bangladesh in February and March?
Bangladesh is located on the north bank of the Bay of Bengal, surrounded by India and sharing a short border with Myanmar. It is a delta formed by the annual siltation of the Yarlung Zangbo River and Ganges River. The border hills in the north and east are as high as 100 meters above sea level, but most parts of the country are flat and low-lying. Its capital Dhaka is less than 7 meters above sea level.
Bangladesh is a tropical country with a summer monsoon period and periodic destructive cyclones. Although Bangladesh is divided into six distinct seasons, foreigners can usually only distinguish three seasons. From March to mid-June, the daytime humidity is as high as 38℃. Thereafter, from mid-June to 10 is the summer monsoon period. The humidity is still very high, but the temperature is low and the weather is generally cloudy. In the cool season from the middle of 1 1 to February of the following year, the weather is sunny and dry, which is quite pleasant. During the whole period from 1 February to1month, the night is cool and the temperature drops below 10℃.
