Can I travel to Yuntai Mountain in rainy days?

Light rain can travel to Yuntai Mountain, but heavy rain is not safe to climb the mountain.

Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area is rich in geological relics, and rock strata 3.4 billion years ago have been discovered. In the past 3 billion years, Archean, Yuanguyu, Paleozoic and Cenozoic strata have been formed.

Many tectonic movements, especially in the recent 23 million years, the intense uplift of neotectonic movement and the deep undercutting of water erosion have created a canyon group with two opposite cliffs and various dynamic waterfalls, springs, streams and pools in Yuntai Mountain, and the isomorphic landscape has become "Yuntai landform".

Hongshixia 1

Hongshixia (Wenpanyu), located in Hunan Ovary, is 1.5km long. Composed of red rocks, it belongs to the Danxia landform canyon landscape in China, with reddish cliff walls, so it is called "Hongshi Gorge".

2. Temple Canyon

Tanpu Gorge, located slightly west of the northern part of Yuntai Mountain, is the source of Zifang River. Tanpu Gorge is 2000 meters long and runs north and south. A stream in Tanzhe Gorge is called Xiaolongxi. The main attractions are Duxian Lake, Lover Waterfall, Jinlong Wobo, Duck Waterfall, Qingyi Lake, water curtain cave, Jasper Lake, Sword Test Stone, Butterfly Rock, Dragon and Phoenix Wall, etc.
