1. Clear the drainage and irrigation ditches. Paddy fields should clear ditches in time and open field drainage ditches to ensure smooth drainage. After the disaster, some lodging rice plants should be straightened in time and the mud on the leaves should be washed away to restore the normal photosynthetic function of the leaves and promote the recovery of plant growth.

2. Rush to harvest mid-season rice. For mid-season rice that has already matured, we must strive to harvest it before the typhoon. For mid-season rice that has been seriously lodging due to typhoons but is basically mature, we must mobilize the masses to harvest as soon as possible, and organize dryers to dry or sunny-dry in time before the rice germinates to reduce losses.

3. Topdressing to prevent diseases and pests. After the typhoon, late rice is particularly susceptible to outbreaks of bacterial blight, thin streak disease and other diseases. Pests such as rice planthoppers and rice leaf rollers also occur from time to time, so attention should be paid to prevention and control. Post-disaster top dressing is usually done about 3-5 days after the water recedes. External top dressing can be used, and foliar spraying can be carried out with potassium dihydrogen phosphate or urea.
