Yanzhou belongs to which province and city.

Yanzhou belongs to Jining City, Shandong Province.

Yanzhou District is located in the southwest of Shandong Province, between 35 43 ′17 ″ north latitude and 6 35 ′ 21″ east longitude. Ningyang in the north, Wenshang in the west, Zoucheng and Rencheng in the south and west, and Qufu, Confucius' hometown, across the Sihe River in the east. The whole territory is 38.5 kilometers long from north to south and 27.9 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of 65 1. 1 square kilometer.

The geotectonics in Yanzhou area belong to Luxi fault block uplift (Grade Ⅲ) and Yanzhou fault uplift (Grade Ⅳ) units, bounded by Yishan fault in the east, Sun Shi fault in the west, Siwen fault in the north and Fushan fault in the south. Yanzhou is one of them. The basement is metamorphic rock series of Taishan Group. Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic strata are developed on the basement. Among them, the Late Paleozoic strata are rich in industrial coal seams, which is an important base of national coal resources. The tectonic movement in China has shaped different tectonic landforms, which can be roughly divided into two types: fault structure and fold structure. Strata are developed in all walks of life in China, including early Paleozoic strata, Paleozoic strata, Mesozoic strata and Cenozoic strata. In the early Paleozoic, the territory was in a state of slow decline, with large-scale transgression, and extremely thick shallow sea sand shale and carbonate rocks were deposited. Paleozoic Ordovician rocks are mainly light gray, gray thick layered limestone, crystalline limestone and leopard limestone; Carboniferous rocks are mainly gray-white siltstone, clay rock, shale and thin limestone, with several layers of coal; Permian rocks are mainly grayish white, dark gray sandstone, variegated mudstone and brown shale, which are rich in plant fossils. Mesozoic Jurassic rocks are mainly brown sandstone, conglomerate, variegated mudstone and glutenite. Cenozoic consists of tertiary and quaternary strata. Tertiary is sandstone, claystone and mudstone; The Quaternary strata are loose rocks, which are composed of Wensichong proluvial. Wenhe alluvial fan in the west and Sihe alluvial fan in the east, and their overlapping zone is located in Qiantai-Daan-Tianqimiao area.

The climate in Yanzhou belongs to the warm continental climate in the East Asian monsoon region, with four distinct seasons and abundant precipitation. It is characterized by dry and windy spring, hot and rainy summer, mild and cool autumn and dry and cold winter. There are almost no regional differences in China's climate. Spring (March-May) is controlled by the denatured polar continental air mass, and the temperature rises rapidly and changes sharply, and it is southerly, dry and rainy, which often causes spring drought. Summer (June-August) is affected by the ocean summer monsoon, with high temperature and rainy weather, occasional summer drought, thunderstorm, heavy rain, hail, continuous rain and other bad weather. In autumn (September ~165438+1October), with the re-establishment of the northern continental high and the control of the whole territory, vertical structure of the atmosphere is stable, with crisp autumn air, obviously reduced precipitation, accompanied by autumn drought, autumn waterlogging in some years and sudden drop of temperature in late autumn. In winter (12 ~ February), due to the control of winter wind, the weather is dry and cold, with less rain and snow.
