Unit 1 composition in the second volume of grade six

No matter in school or in society, everyone is familiar with composition, which is a narrative method to express a theme through words. So how to write a general composition? The following is my carefully arranged composition in Unit 1 of the second volume of Grade Six. Welcome to read the collection.

Unit 1 Composition, Volume 2, Grade 6 1 For some people, cooking can be described as Zhang Fei eating bean sprouts-a piece of cake, or even a happy enjoyment. But cooking for the first time was full of twists and turns for me, which not only burned my fingers, but also turned the kitchen into a chicken nest and made many jokes.

I remember when I was six years old, I wanted to learn to cook at home. This is because I saw that my mother worked hard and the food just put into the hot pot made a "sneering" sound, which I found very interesting. Slowly, I often observe the way my mother cooks and try to find the feeling of cooking.

Finally, I have the right to cook independently. So I can't wait to start cooking by myself.

At first, I tied an apron like my mother and took out some potatoes from the storage basket to prepare shredded potatoes. I moved a small stool, climbed up, picked up a kitchen knife, and chopped potatoes as big as steamed bread. With a bang, the potato was split in half with a knife. Hearing the noise, my mother rushed to my side and immediately snatched the "weapon" from my hand and said to me, "My baby! You are really good at cooking. Don't you have to peel potatoes? Don't you need to wash it? " It suddenly dawned on me that potatoes should be peeled and washed before they can be shredded!

With the patient help of my mother, I washed, shredded, rinsed and controlled the water. Under the guidance of my mother, I turned on the gas, lit the fire, poured some golden rapeseed oil into the pot, and finally added shredded potatoes.

As soon as the shredded potatoes were put into the pot, the hot oil in the pot jumped out like a group of little monkeys, and some of them shot "arrows" at me like archers. Fortunately, my mother's apron protected me, otherwise I would have become a fried person. I saw an arrow coming at me, and I was busy waving a spatula and scattering shredded potatoes all over the pot. I was scalded by the hot pot handle when I was in a hurry, and the pain continued to stir fry.

Contrary to expectations, the shredded potatoes that had just been fried a few times somehow burned at once, so I had to put the remaining shredded potatoes in the pot on the plate.

Although cooking shredded potatoes this time has brought a lot of pain and trouble to my parents, it still makes me unforgettable. There is something to pay and something to gain.

On a snowy winter day, I just finished my final exam and happily ran to the school gate to wait for my father to take me home. As soon as my father came, he told me that he had asked for a kitten at a friend's house. It's only half a month old. It's a Garfield.

We came to my father's friend's house. I saw an old cat with six lovely babies. I chose a very clever little female cat. She has a fat face, brown eyes and a small nose like a red bean. She is yellow and white, and looks beautiful. Dad held it carefully in his arms and walked home.

When she left, the kitten barked at her mother, who kept looking around. It seems to find that one of its babies is missing and crying. When I came home, my father let it out. It is dishonest, as if looking for its mother. My father and I decided to name it Jiajia, but it responded by calling it Mimi. I was a little scared just now and kept hiding behind curtains or quilts. Looking around with watery eyes, he seems to be familiar with the environment at home. I will carry it to the nest I made for it, but it won't, and it will slowly climb up. I put it on the bed again, and it wandered slowly. Suddenly, it stared at something on the bedside table, pedaled its limbs hard, and suddenly jumped with a whoosh, pulling out a small ball only half the size of a fist and happily playing with this "trophy" with its front paws. The next morning, my father fed it milk powder and went to work. The little thing fell asleep quietly beside me. When I opened my eyes, I found it was still sleeping. It looks so lovely that words can't describe it.

In the afternoon, when I was doing my homework, it lay quietly on the floor behind the chair where I was sitting, playing with my sweater and falling asleep slowly. When I was together, it woke up and jumped around me. Once, Mimi was very naughty. Mom opened the door to put the garbage, and it suddenly ran out. Dad chased it for a long time before bringing it back. Wash your feet when you come back, criticize. It also purred, as if to say, "I was wrong, I was wrong."

I like Mimi very much, and raising Mimi is also a very interesting thing.

The first volume of the sixth grade Unit 1 Composition 3 In life, there are many firsts. Riding a bike for the first time, winning a prize for the first time, washing dishes for the first time and so on. So many firsts have turned into sparkling gems, and the brightest gem is also my most unforgettable first time.

My unforgettable first time was cooking.

I remember when I was in the fourth grade, I wanted to learn to cook, and then I said to my mother, "Mom, I want to learn to cook, can I?"

"No, you are still young. Wait until you grow up. " Mom said. I pestered my mother, and finally, my mother was willing to teach me how to cook.

In the evening, I bring the pot of the rice cooker, wash it, put a few cups of rice in it, and wash the rice three or four times first, so it's clean. Just when my aunt called, my mother ran to answer the phone. I don't know how much water to put in the rice. I put a lot of water on my own initiative and boiled it. I am very excited. I think I must do it well.

Who knows that after the meal was cooked, my mother reached out and took it out. He was surprised and frowned and asked me, "Where's the meal?"

I proudly said, "In the pot!"

"What's in the pot is porridge." Mom said angrily. I glanced at the pot. Hey, it's really porridge. It is my fault that everyone eats porridge at night. Grandma came to comfort me and said, "It doesn't matter. If you fail the first time, you may succeed the second time. Don't lose heart, come on! " "Grandma's words made me feel much better.

And it was from this time that I learned that my mother went to work every day and took care of us at night. My mother is very hard, and cooking is also a very tiring thing. So I have to understand my mother's hard work, and I have grown up, so I have to help my mother do more housework. This can not only help my mother reduce the burden, but also combine work and rest.

There will always be a first time in life. When you fail for the first time, don't lose heart. Keep working hard and you will succeed the second time. With the first time, there will be a second time. Let's continue to refuel!

Speaking of small animals, I like them all: chickens, kittens, puppies, turtles, monkeys and goldfish. These animals are my favorites. I like small animals best. I often keep some small animals. But my mother never let me keep small animals, but my mother was merciful and bought me two small turtles when she saw that I couldn't put it down. I'm so happy!

Speaking of these two "little brothers and sisters", these two little guys are smart and cute, which is very funny. I often tease them, and sometimes I sit next to them. That little turtle sister has faded, which is not funny at all. She often hides in the corner to watch Brother Tortoise do backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle. After a while, Sister Tortoise gradually got familiar with the environment and began to tango with Brother Tortoise!

I often catch earthworms and feed them to these two little guys. They seem to know how to make pears in Kong Rong! Brother Tortoise gave the fat and big earthworm to his sister, and the sister gave the fat and big earthworm to his brother. They make me dizzy! "alas! These two little guys are really annoying! "

But after all, they are my pets, and they are annoying. I still like them, these two little guys that I love and hate!

These two little guys are really timid.

He always retracts his head into the shell. After a while, Guo Dage stretched out his big eyes and looked up and down. Seeing that there was no movement around him, he swaggered out his head and neck, looked around, and then asked Guo Jie to take out his head. At that time, I thought Brother Tortoise was very brave. Soon, the water moved a few times, and both of them shrank back into their little heads.

Students, do you want to see our two little turtles? I need an appointment! Otherwise, you will be crushed to death by others! Hee hee! Huh? Who's laughing? I turned around. These two little turtles are so cute!

With the growth of age, our parents taught us a lot of housework, among which cutting vegetables is essential.

A few years ago, I saw a food program on TV. A chef is cutting tofu. He ate tofu and steamed stuffed bun quickly. "Who can't cut it?" I thought to myself, but he put the tofu in the water and waved it gently, and a line of "white silk" floated up! Such a good knife method! Also asked to cut vegetables.

I went to the kitchen, and my mother was about to cut carrots. I said to my mother, "Let me cut the radish today!" "My mother agreed, and said to me," Remember to hold the radish in your left index finger and the handle in your right hand, so that you are scared to wash it lightly before you weigh it. Be careful not to cut your hand. "Then she gave me a demonstration. Mother "scraped" a few times to cut radish into filaments, and "scraped" a few times to cut filaments into filaments. Radish silk lay neatly on the chopping board, like a bunch of silver silk.

I thought, "Isn't it easy?" Immediately, the right hand grabbed the kitchen knife and the left hand clumsily pressed it on the radish. Who knows, I was just about to cut it off. Somehow, the radish slipped from my hand and really slipped on my finger. I quickly drew my hand back. Fortunately, it wasn't cut by a knife, but my index finger was cut off.

Mom saw it and said, "Look at you. What's the hurry? Go to the band-aid, don't cut it, go to rest! " "Don't rest," I replied. "I don't believe you dare to be presumptuous in front of a giant like me!" "Radish is round and hard, and it is easy to slide on the chopping board. You can cut off a radish first, and then-""and then lay the cut side flat on the chopping board, right? "

So I started cutting, and the radish was much more obedient. But not long after, my mother said, "Oh, why do you eat so thin and thick?" How can you cook like this? "A fall into a pit, a gain in wisdom. I cut it carefully. It's really a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The shredded radish I ate was thin and long, and it was cut by my mother, almost the same.

I smiled and recalled that I covered my slightly painful hand when I cut vegetables just now, and I should do everything as seriously as cutting vegetables in the future!

Unit 1 Composition 6, Volume 2, Grade 6 "Dad, let me study alone today!" "no!" Dad is very angry. He just reads the newspaper. Listen, I quarreled with my father again. Since my first day at school, I have been following a bodyguard-dad. Now, I am in the fifth grade, but my father still follows me everywhere for fear that something will happen to me. Finally, I waited for a golden opportunity-my father was on a business trip. Haha, I can finally go to school alone this time.

However, when I really go to school alone, I am at a loss.

I'm walking in the street, and my father is not around, so I feel insecure. When I came to the crossroads, I looked at the flashing red light and felt an inexplicable fear. In front of me are some cars that don't obey the traffic rules and rampage, and I, like a small fish, shuttle between the chaotic cars. My legs are too weak to stride. Finally, the green light came on. I took a long breath, strengthened my courage, and then crossed the road at a speed of 100 meters. Fortunately, I was not hit by a car, and my hanging heart finally calmed down.

I walk on the sidewalk. Suddenly, an old man came running to me on a bicycle. Strange, I gave way to the left, and so did my grandfather. I gave way to the right. My grandfather seemed fascinated by me and rode to the right. Seeing the distance getting closer and closer, I panicked, just closed my eyes and stood still, even afraid to catch my breath ... At this time, how I wish my father could appear by my side immediately! But it's impossible. I heard a bang, and suddenly it was very quiet here! I opened my eyes and saw that the car had stopped. I quickly apologized to grandpa. Grandpa White Beard was very gentle and forgave me at once. Fortunately, I didn't suffer!

Ah, this is my first time to go to school alone. I'm really close!

Unit 7, Book 2, Grade 6 In life, each of us has many firsts: washing clothes for the first time, cooking for the first time, performing for the first time ... One by one "firsts" are like footprints printed on our growth path ... Speaking of which, I can't help but think of one of my firsts. ...

One Sunday morning, I got up and looked at the alarm clock in a daze. It's already half past eight. It is sunny outside. It is quiet at home. I looked left and right, but I couldn't see my mother. Suddenly, I found a note on the table that said, "Daughter, I'm going to your grandmother's house. Make your own breakfast. " It turns out that mom went to grandma's house, so what should I eat for breakfast? Just eat fried eggs. I have seen my mother fry eggs before. With this in mind, I put on my apron and picked up a spatula, ready to "show my talents".

I poured some oil into the pot first, then I took an egg and knocked it on the edge of the pot, but it didn't break. I knocked again and it didn't break. Seeing that the oil in the pot was about to smoke, I had to knock hard and the egg broke a big hole. Bang! The egg yolk fell to the ground, and when I cleaned it up, I found that the room was full of lampblack.

I was unwilling and decided to do it again. I cleaned the pot, brought a bowl, picked up the eggs and tapped them on the edge of the bowl. After a long crack appeared in the eggshell, I broke the eggshell by hand, poured the egg into the bowl, and then stirred the egg evenly with chopsticks. After lighting the hot pot, I pour the oil, pour the eggs into the pot, turn them over in a few seconds, and then serve them in a few seconds. Oh! Golden, golden and beautiful, with some soy sauce on it, ha! Full of color, smell and taste. At this time, a bee buzzed in smelling the fragrance, and I ignored it. I quickly took the egg into the living room, tasted my masterpiece and took a bite. It was tender inside and crisp outside. I ate it at once.

This fried egg made me understand a truth: failure is the mother of success.

From birth to now, we must have experienced many "firsts", some of which may have been forgotten, but that "first time" is deeply imprinted in our minds and fresh in our memory.

That was a few years ago. In a summer vacation, I brought a kitten from my hometown, and I will keep it. I remember when the kitten was very young. Its fur is gray, soft and comfortable, and it feels lovely. I touched the kitten's head and played with it. This kitten is obedient and spoiled. I am very happy, too. I named the kitten Mimi. I whispered to Mimi, "Mimi, I will take care of you from now on."

Mimi always meows at noon, and I don't know what's going on. At this time, my stomach began to growl and I was hungry. I just know: Oh! So Mimi is hungry! After dinner, my mother cooked a fish. I divided the fish into several parts, put them on a plate and gave them to Mimi. Mimi bowed her head to eat, ate with relish, and meowed, as if thanking me for giving it such delicious food.

In the evening, I took out my toys and played with Mimi. I took out a small rubber ball, pointed it at Mimi, and then rolled on the ground. Unexpectedly, Mimi ran to the front of the ball and kicked it back with a pair of front legs. How clever! Then, I sat on the sofa, took a yo-yo and flew up and down. Mimi stretched her limbs, put her front paws on the sofa and jumped up. I am very happy.

Mimi has been playing all day, and it's time to take a bath when she is dirty. I held out a basin of warm water to give Mimi a bath, and Mimi cried comfortably. After a few minutes, Mimi became clean again.

Time flies, Mimi has grown up under my careful care. It cultivated my love and made me more independent!

Sixth grade book 2 Unit 1 Composition 9 You must have eaten sushi! There are many kinds of sushi in the restaurant, which are delicious. What's the taste of homemade sushi?

In Friday's comprehensive practice class, Mr. Jin led us to have a meaningful sushi making activity, which was carried out in groups. Finally, the first prize, the second prize and the third prize were awarded according to the creativity and taste of six groups of sushi. The night before, our two groups worked together and brought all the materials. I am in charge of bamboo slips, floss and seaweed.

The ringing of the bell "Ding" made everyone's heart boil. I see that everyone has a well-thought-out plan, and the information has already been prepared on the table. After Mr. Jin introduced several sets of sushi pictures, the sushi production activity officially kicked off. This is my first time cooking sushi, and I only have a vague understanding of sushi. I can't wait to know what Zhu Han, the treasure of the town group, looks like. First of all, I took a spoonful of rice and laid it flat on the sushi roll, and flattened it with a spoon to ensure that every corner was evenly covered with rice. Then I carefully cut carrots, lunch meat and cucumbers into three pieces of the same size with a knife and put them on the rice. All these ingredients have been added. It's time to add ingredients. I took out two spoonfuls of dental floss from the dental floss jar and sprinkled it around and in the middle of sushi. Then, I put the sushi rolls with seasoning into strips, wrapped them in simple paper, pinched them, cut them into pieces with a knife, sprinkled with caviar, and 6 pieces of sushi were finished easily. I was overjoyed. I didn't expect sushi to be so simple.

Let's look at the progress of other students. Everyone made sushi for novice readers. The next stage begins again. In order to win the championship, our group plans to make a beach with dental floss, put sushi on the "beach" and make a smiling face. In ten minutes, the masterpiece will be released! Because of our careful production, we stand out among the six groups and rank first with one group. "Yes," we cheered and tasted together. Sweet and sour, and crisp and refreshing cucumbers. It's really delicious.

I remember this sushi making activity vividly, and it also gave me the "first time" in my life.

Unit 1 Composition, Book 2, Grade 6 10 Now I am on my way home, constantly looking at the beautiful scenery around me. Then, I can't help but think of the first time I walked home alone. I really appreciate that experience, because with that bold first time, I am now able to go home by myself.

It was a Friday in grade four, and I walked out of the classroom after school. I don't want to go back to the small table because I had an awkward conversation with the teacher at noon. What shall we do? I muttered to myself. Suddenly I thought that the school was close to home, so I made up my mind to walk home by myself!

Out of the school, I clenched my triangular ruler-I was too careful, thinking that a "gangster" might not rush up from any corner to grab my schoolbag and other things.

After walking for a while, I suddenly wanted to go to the toilet. I was in front of a toilet and rushed in like a tiger going down the mountain. Don't forget to be vigilant when you enter the toilet, as if everyone in the toilet is bad and bears a grudge against them. Everyone is curious about the way I am on guard, which makes me embarrassed.

Then I got home smoothly. My mother praised me for going home by myself, and then said that she was worried. What if something happens? I think so, too. Parents are really worried. So, I decided not to go home alone without special circumstances.

Today, my father is very busy and can't pick me up. I am walking on my way home again, humming and looking at the surrounding scenery, and laughing happily.

I summarized the following points afterwards: 1. Going home by yourself is a kind of ability, which needs to be cultivated by yourself. Tell your parents everything and let them know your whereabouts, otherwise parents will be very worried. Learn to restrain yourself and don't let some of your thoughts go to your head. Go home by yourself this time. What if something happens? 4, we should boldly concentrate on some new things under the premise of safety, because with the first time, there will be a second time and a third time!

Unit 1 Composition 1 1 It was a sunny Sunday, and my classmates and I went for an outing in the suburbs.

When I got there, I first saw peach blossom powder as rosy clouds, and then I saw pear flowers as white as snow. Not far ahead, is a large rape field, vaguely blooming. Looking around, it is like a golden ocean, very spectacular.

We came to the field and saw a farmer's uncle in his forties and fifties weeding. A few students in front followed his example, grabbed a handful of grass and dragged it over, with several wheat seedlings beside them.

The farmer's uncle saw several pairs of small hands "helping" himself, which made him laugh and cry. I want to praise you, but I can't say it when I see that we have torn down all the wheat seedlings. If you want to criticize, you can't bear to watch us work hard. So he introduced us: "The grass to be pulled is called Artemisia selengensis. If it is not pulled out in time, it will take away the nutrition of the wheat seedlings and make them grow up. " Uncle cleared his throat and said, "If you are interested, you can experience it together." This is what we expect. The farmer's uncle's voice did not fall, and everyone swarmed. I didn't care, so I pulled it out.

At this time, the farmer's uncle said, "Be careful, you'd better not step on the wheat seedlings."

I kept pulling, but it didn't last long. Unfortunately, something happened: I accidentally fell down and sat on a row of wheat seedlings behind me in order to pull out a strong chrysanthemum tree. I feel very ashamed. Suddenly, my face turned red, like a red apple. ...

After working for less than ten minutes, I was so tired that my back ached, but I still insisted that the farmer's uncle should do this every day.

The first time I worked, I understood a truth: a porridge and a meal are hard to come by.

Unit 1 Composition 12, Book 2, Grade 6 Speaking of that unforgettable first time, I had to bow my head in shame. It is estimated that you will never believe that my first time was to develop photos when I was a child!

I remember that time, my father, who has always been silent at home, suddenly said, come and help my father go downstairs to the photo studio to develop the photos. My father has something to go to the company. Will you help my father? Ok, I answered my father confidently. Dad gave me a negative, and I was as happy as discovering a new continent. I thought to myself, it's just developing photos! Is it necessary to go to such trouble? Or I'll help dad wash it! Not only save money, but also get praise from my father. It is the best of both worlds! All right! Let's get started.

I brought a basin of cool water, and I thought, why is this negative really dirty? Cold water doesn't seem to work, so we have to change it to hot water. After thinking about it, I started to act. As soon as the hot water is put in, I will put the negative in, then wipe it hard with soap and brush it hard with a brush. I don't know how long it took, and there are many soap bubbles, but this negative hasn't changed at all. I am extremely disappointed, alas! Why can't I clean it? Oh, no wonder dad asked me to go to the photo studio to wash it. There is a sound of opening the door. Dad saw me washing things in the toilet and asked me if I had developed the photos. I said no, and then I told my father what happened. Dad smiled and said, silly boy, you can never clean this photo, and it's not as easy as you think. You must give it to a professional, ok? Hmm. I nodded in confusion.

Since that incident, I can't help laughing every time I think about it. Of course, in the first laugh, I also understood that things are not as simple as you think, let alone act rashly.

There are many firsts in life, such as riding a bike for the first time, traveling for the first time, having a barbecue for the first time ... The first time is like the stars in the sky, bright and countless. It is the memory of life and the only way for us to grow up.

I remember a breezy afternoon, my mother was sick and asked for leave, and she kept coughing in bed. Looking at her uncomfortable appearance makes me feel guilty. What should I do? Make mom happy? I paced back and forth and saw the potatoes in the kitchen, and I couldn't help but have a plan; Yes! Doesn't mom usually like shredded potatoes? Haha, why don't you make a shredded potato for mom yourself?

As soon as I started, I happily ran to the kitchen, put the potatoes ready for "death" on the "Xingtai"-the chopping block, and cut them quickly. It's easier said than done, but it's harder than going to heaven. I grabbed the potato and peeled it hard, with great effort, and finally succeeded, but the whole potato had seven wounds and eight sores.

After peeling, it is the stage of cutting potatoes. This is relatively easy. I have a knife in one hand and a potato in the other. A few bites will turn into slender shredded potatoes. Then there is the pot. This stage is particularly critical. First pour the oil into the pot, and then put the slender potato shreds into the pot and stir fry. When the time is ripe, put the prepared seasoning into the pot and stir fry constantly. Soon, the delicious shredded potatoes are ready.

The first time I was so successful, my mother was full of praise for my work-shredded potatoes with a smile on her mouth. My heart is full of joy and happiness! It's not just a plate of delicious shredded potatoes, the process makes me memorable.

On Sunday, my parents and I went fishing by the river. I am very excited because this is my first time fishing.

We came to the river and saw many people fishing. Soon, my uncle caught a fish. I confidently said to my parents: "others can catch fish, so can we!" " "

We took out our fishing gear and my father began to float and fish. After a while, he pressed it, tried it, and said, "Not bad." He hung the earthworm on the hook and threw it into the river, and handed me the fishing rod. My father told me while pressing his float: "Be patient when fishing, and keep your eyes on the float carefully. When the float sinks violently and then moves up and down, it means that the fish has bitten the hook. At this time, if you lift the pole, you will catch fish. " Soon my float jumped up and down, and I nervously asked my father, "Do you lift the pole?" My father said, "Bring it up." Suddenly it was mentioned that the earthworm caught by two fish was still hanging on the hook, and there was no fish at all. Father said, "Too soon." I threw the hook into the river again and began to wait patiently. After a while, the fish came to bite again. I held my breath and watched the fish float. After waiting for a while, I suddenly lifted the pole. This time, there are not only fish but also earthworms on the hook. Father said it was too slow this time. Well, it's not working again. This was repeated many times, and no fish was caught. I'm a little annoyed. My father read my mind and said to me earnestly, "No matter what you do, you must have patience and perseverance. Run when you are in trouble. In the end, there is nothing you can do. " The same is true of fishing. "After listening to my father, I sat down again in high spirits. Ah! The fish bit the hook again. I watched the fish go up and down nervously and waited for about ten seconds. Suddenly, I feel that the pole is heavy. I saw "ah! There are fish on both hooks! I actually caught two fish at a time! " Looking at the fat fish, I shouted happily.

The first fishing not only made me gain two fat fish, but also made me understand a truth: whatever I do, I must have patience and perseverance to do it seriously.

One afternoon in the first month, my mother and I sat in the yard basking in the sun. Grandpa walked out of the house with an iron plow in one hand and a basket in the other. I greeted him quickly and asked, "Grandpa, what are you going to do?" Grandpa said, "It's a beautiful day today. I'm going to plant' Yang Ennai'." I asked my mother next to me, "What is' Yang En 'ai'?" Mother smiled and said, "'foreign nai' is potato, also called clock system." I nodded and decided to plant' Yangankang' with my grandfather.

I followed my grandfather to the fields. The earth smells fresh and earthy, and the soft sunshine shines on the soil that Grandpa has just turned over. The field seems to be covered with a layer of golden sand. Several clusters of green grass on both sides of Ridge Road are swaying slightly in the spring breeze. Grandpa put down his basket and iron plow, walked around the ridge road first, then picked up the iron plow, stood on the newly turned soil, used it to dig a small pit, and then put the potatoes in the basket into the dug pit one by one. Finally, pick up a handful of soil and crush it, and cover it with potatoes. Standing by, I said to my grandfather, "Grandpa, let me help you!" " "Grandpa smiled and said," good! "I jumped up happily and put the potatoes in the pit with one hand. Grandpa quickly said to me, "wait, you have to have a look." There are buds on potatoes. You should put the bud on it so that it will grow quickly. "Listen to grandpa, I picked up a potato and looked at it. Gee, it's so ugly and wrinkled, just like the face of a weather-beaten old woman. There are several purple buds with a little yellow-green color on them, and many beards are scattered at the bottom of the buds. I put it in the pit as my grandfather said and covered it with mud. Grandpa watered it again.

About an hour later, my grandfather and I finished planting a basket of potatoes. Looking at the fields full of potatoes, I asked my grandfather, "When will they grow?" Grandpa said, "If the weather is warm, it will grow well in about half a month." "Then I'll come back in half a month to see what they look like."

This is my first time to do farm work. Although a little tired, I learned a lot about knowledge of nature that I didn't know before.
