According to the analysis of experts from the National Ocean Forecasting Station, there will be strong winds of 13 to 15 when the typhoon lands, and it will bring heavy rain or heavy precipitation in a wide range. Affected by this typhoon, it is estimated that there will be a storm surge of 50 cm to 140 cm along the coast of Shantou, Guangdong Province, 80 cm to 220 cm along the coast of the Pearl River Estuary in Guangdong Province, 50 cm to 100 cm on the east coast of Leizhou Peninsula in Jiangmen, Guangdong Province, and 40 cm to 60 cm in the northeast of Hainan Province.

In addition, the tidal level of Huangpu Tidal Station in Guangdong Province will exceed the local warning tidal level by more than 80 cm around noon on the 2nd, and the tidal levels of ports, Chiwan and Hengmen Tidal Stations will exceed the local warning tidal level by more than 30 cm on the morning of the 2nd. The tidal level of Sanzao and Denglongshan tidal stations will exceed the local warning tidal level on the morning of the 2nd.

In terms of waves, it is estimated that there will be wild waves of 7 meters to 11meter in the northern part of the South China Sea, 4 meters to 7 meters in the southern part of the Taiwan Province Strait, 4 meters to 6 meters in the eastern coast of Guangdong, and 2.5 meters to 4 meters in the southern part of Fujian, the western coast of Guangdong and the eastern part of Hainan.
