Coverage: During the insurance period, if the insured needs to pay extra living expenses because the number of days of high temperature in the insurance area exceeds the deductible days agreed in this contract, the insurer will pay the insurance money within the insured amount according to the agreement in this insurance contract.

Explanation:

(1) High temperature day: the highest temperature on that day is equal to or higher than the trigger temperature value, which is defined as a high temperature day. See the attached table for the trigger temperature values of each insured city.

(2) Daily maximum temperature: refers to the maximum temperature between 0: 00 and 24: 00 on the same day measured by the reference observation station, which is released by the data provider in a timely and complete manner, in degrees Celsius. If the data provider fails to release the data, other data agreed by both parties in the insurance contract shall apply.

(3) Living expenses: refers to the expenses of water, electricity, coal and transportation, as well as the expenses of electrical appliances and drinks in summer.

(4) Data providers: refer to the National Meteorological Administration, National Climate Center, meteorological bureaus of provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), climate centers of provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and other authoritative meteorological data providers recognized by insurers and policyholders.

(5) Refer to the codes of the Observatory and its World Meteorological Organization (see attached table).

(6) Days without compensation: (see attached table)

For example, your city is Beijing, and you bought a "37℃ high temperature insurance". According to the insurance contract, the number of days of the insurance policy is 6 days, and the insurance amount is 100 yuan. Then, during the insurance period, if Beijing encounters six accumulative high temperature days of 37℃, the insurer will pay the insurance premium from the seventh high temperature day of 37℃, and pay 5 yuan/day for each high temperature day of 37℃. The maximum payment amount is 100 yuan, that is, the maximum cumulative payment days is 20 days. If the accumulated high temperature of 37℃ in Beijing is only 6 days during the insurance period, the insurer will not start paying.
