"Because Qin Shihuang died on the sand dune platform, our village was named after the big platform. " During the Warring States Period, King Wuling of Zhao, who was famous for his "riding and shooting in Hu clothes", was trapped in Dune Palace in his later years because of civil strife, and starved to death here in March. This song "Exploring the Moon in the Bird's Nest" is a sigh of later generations when they visited ancient times. In 299 BC, King Wuling of Zhao suddenly announced the abolition of the seal of Prince Edward and passed it on to his youngest son He (that is, King Huiwen of Zhao). Later, King Wuling of Zhao wanted to divide Zhao into two, and named Zhao the King of Zhao and Dai the King. This plan caused a power struggle within Zhao's ruling group. In 295 BC, King Wuling of Zhao, Zhao Zhang and others moved to Dune Palace together. Zhao Zhang took the opportunity to rebel, killed King Huiwen of Zhao and regained the throne. The son of the Prime Minister became a rescuer and surrounded the Dune Palace for more than three months. Zhao Zhang was killed, and King Wuling of Zhao was trapped in the Dune Palace, unable to get away and unable to find food. He had to catch birds in the tree and mice in the house to satisfy his hunger, and finally starved to death in the Dune.

King Wuling of Zhao, a gifted scholar, had great ambition to unify the world, but he died before his ambition. Even Sima Qian had to sigh: "Hesitation is undecided, so it started from chaos, and even father and son died. Isn't it painful to laugh at the world?"
