According to the automatic measurement by China Seismological Network, an earthquake of magnitude 4.7 occurred near Yanyuan County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province on September 26th 12+09: 26, with the epicenter at 27.92 degrees north latitude and10/0.52 degrees east longitude. An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 occurred in Xiangjiao Township, Muli County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with a latitude of 27.9 degrees north and an longitude of10/0.4 degrees east and a focal depth of 15 km.

After the earthquake, the Seismological Bureau of Sichuan Province assigned the Liangshan Prefecture Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction Bureau to send an on-site working group to the earthquake area at the first time, and at the same time asked neighboring counties to collect earthquake disaster information, strengthen earthquake tracking, do emergency duty well, and report the disaster situation in time.
