How does the Warcraft map editor make the map snow

If you want the whole map to snow, in the menu bar "Scene-Map Options", check "Use Global Climate" and select the snowy weather.

If you want to snow in a local area, create a new area where you want to snow, double-click the area, check "Weather Effect" and choose the snowy weather.
