Poetics of Zhuzhi Ci
The Yangliuqing River is wide and flat, and I hear my lover singing on it. Sunrise in the east and rain in the west say it's sunny but sunny.
Original text:
The willow-green river is wide and flat, and I heard the song of the river.
Rain in the east, sunrise in the east, said it was not sunny, but it was still sunny.
Zhuzhici is a group of poems written by Liu Yuxi, a writer in the Tang Dynasty. Among Liu Yuxi's works handed down from ancient times, there are eleven Zhi Zhu Ci poems, which are divided into two groups, and these two poems are one of them.
The first poem is about the mood of a girl immersed in her first love. She loves someone, but she doesn't really understand their attitude, so she has both hope and doubt; I am both happy and worried. The poet successfully expressed this subtle and complicated psychology in his own tone.
The second is that I don't write subtle things with homophonic sounds like the first song, but hearing Ba people sing Sichuan will naturally lead to homesickness. The whole poem is lively in style and full of life, with distinctive folk characteristics.
Extended data writing background:
Liu Yuxi served as a secretariat in Kuizhou from the first month of the second year of Changqing in Tang Muzong to the summer of the fourth year of Changqing, and wrote eleven poems about Zhi Zhu.
Eleven Zhuzhi Ci Poems are divided into two groups. This is one of them, written after the other nine (nine poems on bamboo branches). It was written by the poet after the first nine poems were written, but he didn't want to add ten or eleven poems after the first nine poems, so he named it Zhuzhici.
Appreciation of articles:
This is a poem describing the love between young men and women. It describes a girl's inner activity of falling in love for the first time when she heard her lover's song on a beautiful spring day. This poem uses the changeable spring weather as a pun, and uses "sunny" to express "love", which has implicit beauty and is very natural for expressing women's shyness. The latter two sentences have always been loved and quoted by later generations.
Using homophonic puns to express thoughts and feelings is a common expression technique in China folk songs from ancient times to the present. This poem expresses the love of young men and women in this way, which is more natural, subtle and clear, with harmonious syllables and quite folkway, but it is more subtle and subtle than ordinary folk songs. So it has always been loved by people.
