Will Jiujiang be affected by the typhoon?

Jiujiang will be affected by Typhoon Du Surui.

At 6 o'clock on July 29th, the Central Meteorological Observatory issued a typhoon blue warning: Typhoon Du, the 5th typhoon this year, weakened from a strong tropical storm to a tropical storm in Fuzhou, Jiangxi at 23 o'clock on the 28th. At 6 o'clock on the morning of the 29th, its center is located in Jiujiang, Jiangxi, which is 29.8 degrees north latitude and 1 16.6 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force outside is 8, and the center is the lowest.

From 8: 00 on the 29th to 8: 00 on the 30th, there were heavy rains in most parts of Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, central and western Shandong, central and northern Henan, eastern Liaoning, central and southern Heilongjiang, northern and southwestern Anhui, northeastern Jiangxi, southern Zhejiang and eastern Fujian. Among them, there are heavy rains in parts of southern Hebei, northern Henan and southeastern Shanxi, and heavy rains in southern Hebei.

Structure of typhoon:

Typhoon is a deep low-pressure system, and its central air pressure is very low. There is an air flow converging towards the center at the lower level, and the air flow at the upper level mainly diverges outward. If the typhoon is cut horizontally, we can see that there are three obviously different areas, from the center to the outside: typhoon eye area, cloud wall area and spiral rain belt area.

The typhoon eye area is very strange, where the wind is very small and the weather is sunny, with an average diameter of 40 kilometers. The sailors involved humorously called Typhoon Eye "Xanadu". The cloud wall area around the typhoon eye is dozens of kilometers wide and tens of kilometers high, which is also called the eye wall. The cloud wall is towering here, the wind is howling, the rain is pouring, the sea is churning, and the weather is the worst.

Outside the cloud wall is a spiral rain belt. There are several rain (clouds) bands that gather spirally around the eye wall. The bandwidth of rain is tens to hundreds of kilometers, and it is several meters long in Qian Qian. There will be showers and windy weather where the rain belt passes.
