The best time for Yuanyangxi National Scenic Area: Ningde belongs to subtropical maritime monsoon climate with warm and humid climate, with annual average temperature of 14℃-20℃, highest temperature of 28℃-29℃ in July and lowest temperature of 1 month of around 8℃. The landforms of Ningde are complex and diverse, including mountains, hills, basins, plains and other landforms, and the microclimates in different regions are quite different. Apart from waterfalls and caves on both sides of the stream, it is called "Shili Water Street" and consists of three flat boulders, the largest of which is 40,000 square meters. Walking on it, the water just flooded the instep, sparkling and incandescent, so it was called "Baishuiyang".

Baishuiyang is flat and spacious. You can ride a bike and drive a car. There is a 50-meter-long natural slide downstream, which does not hurt the skin and is called "natural surfing swimming pool". Yuanyang River Tourist Area is the central scenic spot of Yuanyang River, featuring wild animals, Yuanyang, macaques and rare plants, and integrating streams, waterfalls, peaks, rocks, caves, ponds and fog. It is a rare comprehensive tourist area. Among them, "Baizhang _ Shuilian Cave" is the most distinctive, which is characterized by large drop, wide waterfall area and abundant water. You can enter the cave and look up at Shuilian. Chaxi tourist area is located in the lower reaches of Yuanyang River. It is dominated by thousands of acres of primitive secondary forests, supplemented by colorful river valley landscapes. The main scenic spot is Baizhang _, which can be compared with Baizhang _ water curtain cave. Shuizhuyang-Kaoxi Tourist Area is located in the west of Chaxi Tourist Area, featuring dangerous peaks, canyons and yellow pines. Yuanyang Lake Tourist Area, located in Shuangxi Town, consists of lakes, islands, mandarin ducks, wild ducks, rhododendrons in four seasons, temples and ancient pagodas.
