Omen of fish scale cloud
Fish-scale cloud refers to the clouds densely arranged like fish scales in the sky, usually dark gray or light blue, sometimes white or light yellow. The appearance of such clouds often indicates that the weather will change. It may rain or snow, but it may clear up.
The formation of fish scale clouds is due to the condensation of water vapor in the atmosphere and the accumulation of low-altitude cloud droplets or ice crystals. When the warm and humid airflow rises to high altitude, it will gradually cool and form clouds. If the warm and humid airflow cools rapidly at a lower height and condenses into cloud droplets or ice crystals, these cloud droplets or ice crystals will gather to form fish scale clouds.
The appearance of fish scale clouds is usually related to the appearance of high pressure ridges and low pressure troughs. Under the action of high pressure ridge, warm and humid air will rise to high altitude and form clouds. Under the action of the trough of low pressure, the air will sink, so the water vapor in the air can't condense into clouds, so the weather will become clear. Therefore, the appearance of scale clouds usually indicates that the weather will change.
Which clouds indicate that the weather will change?
1, Cumulus: It means sunny, but it may rain or wind.
2. Stratiform cloud: The cloud is a uniform stratiform cloud with a gray fog shape. The cloud base is very low, but it doesn't touch the ground, which usually means sunny weather, with occasional rain or light snow in Mao Mao.
3. Cirrus clouds or dark clouds: It means that the weather is going to change, and it may rain or wind.
4. Translucent stratocumulus: The clouds are thin and gray, arranged neatly, and the blue sky can be seen at the gap. Even if there is no gap, the edge of the cloud is bright, and it usually doesn't rain.
5. Covered stratocumulus: Clouds are thick and dark gray, and there is no gap between them. They often overlap layer by layer, covering the whole sky, with obvious ups and downs at the bottom. Thick clouds make the weather worse, while scattered clouds make it better.
6. Rain clouds: low and amorphous, the clouds are evenly layered, which can completely block the sun and the moon, showing dark gray or grayish white, and the bottom of the clouds is often accompanied by broken rain clouds. Clouds are widely distributed horizontally, often covering the whole day. The thickness of the cloud is 4000-5000 meters. Continuous rain and snow.
