How should tea be preserved in summer?
Summer tea storage method ① tin can storage method:
Put the sun-dried tea leaves into an iron can with a double cover and fill it as much as possible to reduce the air. After installation, cover and seal the gap with adhesive tape. You can put two layers of plastic bags outside, and the bag mouth is tightly tied to avoid contact with odor.
(2) container storage method:
Put the tea in a plastic bag, squeeze the air out of the bag, and then put it in a dry and tasteless container (such as a biscuit box or a small jar). Put quicklime or silica gel into a container and seal it.
③ Refrigeration method:
Put the container in the refrigerator to further ensure the stability of tea quality by using low temperature. The advantage of this method is more obvious when it is hot in summer.
(4) thermos storage method:
The thermos bottle has good heat insulation and moisture-proof effect. After the tea leaves are put into the thermos (as full as possible), plug the cork, seal it with white wax, and wrap it with adhesive tape to ensure the container is sealed.
(5) oxygen extraction method:
Vacuum packaging, or placing the tea leaves in a compound bag, pumping out air, and filling with nitrogen. This method is better, but it requires special equipment, so the requirements are higher.
Tea preservation method 1, the simplest refrigerator preservation: put tea in a dry, tasteless and sealable container bottle and put it in the freezer of the refrigerator. If the amount of tea leaves is small and very dry, it can also be packaged and sealed in a double-layer film bag with good moisture-proof performance and put in the refrigerator.
2. The most common storage method of tin cans: put the tea leaves in the tin cans with double covers, and it is best to fill them without leaving any gaps, so that there is less air in the cans. The double-layer lid should be tightly covered, the gap of the lid should be glued with adhesive tape, the tea pot should be put into a double-layer nylon bag, and the mouth of the bag should be sealed to achieve the best storage effect.
3. The most convenient storage method of the composite bag: put the tea leaves in the composite bag, squeeze out the air in the bag, seal the bag mouth with a sealing machine, then put on a plastic bag, tie the bag mouth tightly, and put it in the refrigerator for cold storage.
4. The most practical thermos storage method: put the tea in a dry thermos, cover it with a cork, seal it with white wax, and then seal it with tape.
In addition, we want to know the water content of tea during storage: green tea should not exceed 5% and black tea should not exceed 7%. We can fry or dry the tea leaves first, and then collect them; Tea also needs light and heat insulation, so there are certain requirements for storage environment.
In summer, many people feel hot and dry. Drinking tea at this time can help us cool down, but is it better to drink herbal tea or hot tea? In fact, drinking hot tea can cool down quickly, and it can also make people hear clearly and think clearly. Experiments show that when drinking hot tea, sweating can obviously reduce the surface temperature of human skin in a few minutes and greatly improve thirst; When drinking herbal tea, the skin temperature changes little.
Knowledge of tea preservation 1. If you store a small amount of tea in a short period of time (several months), you can use tea leaves, tin bottles, dark glass bottles or ceramic containers, and it is best to use long-necked tin bottles or double-lid iron tea cans. When filling tea, it should be filled to avoid entering the air.
2. Bundle the tea leaves with thin kraft paper, put them into a dry, odorless, intact jar or iron drum in layers, put one or several bags of weathered lime between tea bags, put a layer of tea bags on it, and cover the drum. If the jar is stored, the jar should be plugged with kraft paper, covered with some grass or cotton and placed in a dry place. The quicklime in the jar is changed every 1 ~ 2 months. You can also put the silica gel desiccant directly into the tea container, but when the particles of the desiccant change from blue to translucent pink, you can take it out and expose it to the sun or bake it with fire, and then use it after it returns to its original color.
3. Put the tea in hot water with good thermal insulation performance, plug the bottle mouth with a cork, seal it with white wax and wrap it with adhesive tape, so that the tea can be preserved for a long time.
4. Wrap a pack of quicklime in paper, put it at the bottom of the bottle, put the tea on the lime and seal it tightly, so that the tea will not be toxic or lose its fragrance.
5. Don't touch spices, paint or camphor, so as not to make the tea smell.
6. If the tea leaves are moldy, you can fry them in the pot for a few minutes to recover. But it must be collected according to the above methods to avoid mildew again. Mildew, don't bask in the sun, put it in a pot and bake it 10 minutes or so to recover. The pot should be clean, and the fire should not be too big.
7. The increase of temperature will accelerate the chemical reaction, promote the decomposition of effective components in tea and reduce the nutritional value of tea. Therefore, tea should be preserved at low temperature. Store in the refrigerator at 0 ~ 10℃. It's best not to put it with soap or sugar.
