What do you mean by high pressure?

High atmospheric pressure refers to an environment where the atmospheric pressure is higher than the average level. Air pressure is a sign of great power. High air pressure usually means stable atmosphere, sunny day, no wind or breeze, low humidity and clean air. In high-pressure weather, you can often see blue sky and white clouds, with clear sight and less rain, beautiful and dreamy sunrise and sunset, suitable for outdoor activities.

The existence of high pressure belt often makes the air in the atmosphere form a "pressure gradient" in the horizontal direction, and then forms wind. Therefore, in the case of high air pressure, the air flow on the ground is relatively calm, but the higher it is from the ground, the faster the wind speed will gradually increase. Low air pressure is just the opposite. The wind speed on the ground is very fast, that is, the wind is very strong, but at higher altitudes, the wind speed gradually decreases.

Although air pressure is a sign of good weather in most cases, high air pressure for several days will also have an impact on human health. When the air pressure continues to be between 1030 hectopascals and 1035 hectopascals, it is easy to cause adverse symptoms such as poor vasodilation, headache, hypotension and nausea. When the air pressure exceeds 1040 hectopascals, it may also lead to more serious health problems such as Andorra syndrome.
