Measures to be taken in windy weather construction;

Before the gale comes, the safety officer shall conduct a comprehensive inspection, maintenance and arrangement of the facilities in the living quarters and the construction site, and timely investigate and eliminate potential safety hazards to ensure safety.

1. Scaffolding: conduct a comprehensive inspection of wall fittings, supports and Rachel systems, tighten loose fasteners, and tie flat nets and vertical nets firmly. When the wind is strong, loosen the scaffolding net on the windward side to reduce the wind pressure. Wait for the wind to subside, and then hang the net. When the wind exceeds level 4, it is forbidden to engage in scaffolding operations. When working at height, the operator must use the safety belt correctly, that is, hang it high and use it low, wear a safety helmet and hang up the safety net. In case of strong wind, dense fog, thunderstorm and other bad weather, construction personnel shall not engage in open-air aerial work.

2. Tower crane: In case of strong wind above level 5 during construction, the hook of tower crane should be raised and the tower crane arm should be placed in the downwind direction. The tower crane driver should leave the tower crane in time, and the doors and windows of the cab should be closed and locked.

3. Temporary power utilization for construction: conduct a comprehensive inspection of temporary power utilization lines and deal with hidden dangers in time. Lock the doors of each distribution box and switch box. Check all overhead power lines during strong wind to prevent them from being too loose and swinging with the wind, so as to avoid short circuit and other problems.

The occurrence of injury. All kinds of distribution boxes and protective sheds are fixed firmly, and all kinds of equipment grounding is set as required.

4. Masonry: check the wall and temporarily support the newly-built independent wall to prevent unnecessary accidents caused by strong wind.

5. Loose materials such as sand and bulk cement should be covered to prevent pollution to the surrounding environment.

6. All openings and holes should be provided with protective measures, such as cover plates. It is forbidden to throw objects at high altitude to prevent objects from drifting with the wind and hurting people.

7. When gas cutting or electric welding is used in high places, measures should be taken to prevent sparks from falling with the wind and detonating flammable items. The remaining covered electrode heads and tools shall not be dropped at will.

8. If the wind force exceeds 6, stop all operations. Construction personnel should stop aerial work in windy weather. Materials on the construction site and operation surface should be piled up firmly to prevent being blown down by strong wind.

9. After the wind, the safety officer, technical director and each team leader shall conduct a major inspection on the construction site to check the stability of scaffolding, temporary power lines and tower cranes. Only when it is safe can it be done.
