Climatic environment of Napo

Napo County has a subtropical monsoon climate with an annual average temperature of 19. 1℃, and is known as "natural air conditioning". The average temperature in the hottest month (July) is 24.8℃, and that in Leng Yue (1 month) is 1 1.4℃. The highest temperature generally appears in May-June, and the extreme highest temperature over the years reaches 36.0℃ (2065438+May 1). The lowest temperature generally appears in 65438+February or 1 month, and the extreme lowest temperature over the years reaches-4.4℃ (197565438+February 30th). There is no coolness in summer, no severe cold in winter, frost in winter and occasional snowfall.

The annual average rainfall in Napo is 1353. 1mm, the maximum rainfall is 1875.2mm (1968), and the minimum rainfall is 995.5mm (1967). The average annual rainfall days (daily rainfall is greater than or equal to 0.65438+) is 8 (once in 90 years), and the maximum daily rainfall over the years reaches166.5 mm (1August 8, 968). Due to the uneven distribution of rainfall, there are obvious dry seasons and rainy seasons throughout the year, with the rainy season from May to 10 and the dry season from11~ April. From May to June, the westerly belt system caused obvious rainfall, and in July, August, September and June, the tropical weather system caused heavy (violent) rain and continuous long rainfall period. Over the years, the rainfall from April to 10 accounts for 89.7% of the total annual rainfall, while the total rainfall from June to March only accounts for 10.3% of the total annual rainfall. During the rainy season, floods often occur in some areas. Serious droughts often occur in winter and spring, so our county is known as "nine droughts in ten years".
