Matters needing attention in driving in expressway on snowy days:

1, pay attention to traffic conditions and lighting. Before going to expressway, you should know the weather and the traffic conditions in expressway. When you get on expressway, you should pay attention to the tips of the road variable information board and turn on the lights, such as turning on fog lights and low beam lights to help drivers look ahead, and turning on position lights and front and rear position lights to indicate the existence of their vehicles.

2. Pay attention to speed and distance. When driving on icy roads, you should slow down and keep a safe distance from the car in front. In case of ice slipping, don't brake suddenly, don't hit the direction suddenly, and slow down the brakes at the same time to stop the car slowly;

3. Wear appropriate colored glasses. Walking on the expressway in snowy days often leads to dazzling situations. Wearing appropriate colored glasses and paying attention to proper rest can prevent dizziness and eye fatigue.

"Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China" Article 81 When a motor vehicle runs on the expressway, it shall comply with the following provisions in case of low visibility meteorological conditions such as fog, rain, snow, dust and hail:

(a) when the visibility is less than 200 meters, turn on the fog lights, low beam lights, position lights and front and rear position lights, the speed shall not exceed 60 kilometers per hour, and keep a distance of more than 100 meters from the vehicle in front of the same lane;

(2) When the visibility is less than 100 meters, turn on fog lights, low beam lights, position lights, front and rear position lights and hazard warning flashlights, the speed shall not exceed 40 kilometers per hour, and keep a distance of more than 50 meters from the vehicle in front of the same lane;

(3) When the visibility is less than 50 meters, turn on fog lights, low beam lights, position lights, front and rear position lights and hazard warning flashlights, and the speed shall not exceed 20 kilometers per hour, and leave expressway from the nearest exit as soon as possible.

In case of the circumstances specified in the preceding paragraph, the administrative department in charge of expressway shall release the prompt information such as speed limit and distance keeping through the display screen.

Eighty-second motor vehicles driving on the expressway, shall not have the following acts:

(a) reversing, retrograde, crossing the median, turning around or parking in the driveway;

(2) overtaking on a ramp, acceleration lane or deceleration lane;

(three) riding, rolling the road boundary or driving on the shoulder;

(four) driving or parking in the emergency lane under non-emergency circumstances;

(five) test drive or learn to drive a motor vehicle.
