What clothes should I wear for the weather in Brazil in early September?

Like China, Brazil is a big country. If you ask China what to wear in March, Northeasters will say cotton-padded jacket and Cantonese will say short sleeves.

Generally speaking, however, the long sleeves in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Rio are similar, so you should bring a coat to prevent the weather from getting cold suddenly. Further north, short sleeves will do.

Some clothes are needed in the south, and sweaters are needed as far away as Rio Grande do, similar to Hangzhou in China in March.
