When is mental illness more common?
There is a folk saying that "rape blossoms and mental illness comes". Spring is the season of high incidence of mental illness, and its incidence accounts for about 70% of the whole year.
Zhang Gong, vice president and deputy chief physician of Jinhua Second Hospital, said that it was only a few days since the spring, but the number of mental patients sent to Jinhua Second Hospital for treatment increased significantly. According to statistics, there were more than 800 mental patients/kloc-0 in Jinhua Second Hospital last year, of which 2/3 were new cases. At present, the prevalence of mental illness is about 6‰.
Why are there many psychological diseases in spring? According to experts, this is related to the change of seasonal rhythm, the length of light and the gloomy weather.

Zhang Gong stressed that for mental patients, family members must urge them to take medicine on time. If it is a mental patient with the first onset, long-term medication can generally be cured; If you are an incurable mental patient with recurrent attacks, you must take medicine for life. Zhang Gong said that for mental patients, their families should create a good environment for them, pay more attention to them, help solve some problems in life and inspire their confidence in life. For patients with mental illness, once they are psychologically frustrated and have too much psychological pressure, they should seek ways to get rid of it in time, learn to change their emotions, confide in their intimate friends or psychologists, and vent their unhappiness and relieve their psychological pressure.
