Is it better to dehumidify or cool air conditioners?

The air conditioner dehumidification mode saves energy. Because the indoor fan motor runs at a low windshield when the air conditioner is running in dehumidification mode, the power consumption of the fan motor itself becomes smaller. The evaporation pressure of the air conditioner decreases when running at a small air volume, and the corresponding condensation pressure decreases. The compression ratio of the compressor is low when the compressor is working, and the compressor consumes electricity. The amount becomes smaller; therefore, the dehumidification mode is more energy-saving compared with the air-conditioning refrigeration operation. However, the main function of the dehumidification mode of the air conditioner is to reduce indoor air humidity, and its effect on temperature regulation is very limited. The dehumidification mode and the cooling mode cannot replace each other. That is to say, when achieving the same cooling effect, the air conditioning cooling mode saves a lot of electricity than the dehumidification mode. When using the air conditioner, the operating mode of the air conditioner should be determined according to actual needs. When the main purpose is to cool down, the cooling mode should be turned on. When the main purpose is to reduce the air humidity in the room, the dehumidification mode should be turned on.
