Which province is Yichun?
Yichun, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangxi Province, was called Yuanzhou in ancient times. Yichun, located in the northwest of Jiangxi Province, is an important member of the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, a regional central city in Jiangxi, Hunan and Hubei, a national lithium-ion new energy industrial base and a national health base. In 2023, Yichun was rated as a third-tier city with a total area of 1.87 million square kilometers. Located in Yuanzhou District, the municipal government has jurisdiction over Yuanzhou, Zhangshu, Fengcheng, Jing 'an, Fengxin, Gao 'an, Shanggao, Yifeng, Tonggu, Wanzai 10 counties and cities, Yichun Economic Development Zone, Yiyang New District and Mingyue Mountain Hot Spring Scenic Area.
By the end of 2022, the resident population of Yichun City was 4,969,700. Yichun is named after "there are springs near the city, which are as beautiful as spring water and pleasant to drink". The county was founded in the sixth year of Emperor Gaozu (20 1) and the city was established in August 2000. It is known as "the hometown of beautiful women in the south of the Yangtze River and the country with prosperous cultural relics".
The climate of Yichun city
Yichun city is located in low latitude and has the characteristics of subtropical monsoon climate. Although the weather is changeable in spring, it warms earlier.
