This situation may be caused by the following three reasons:

Reason 1: Operator IP allocation problem (or IP change) Operator IP allocation error (or IP change) will cause the real IP location to be inconsistent with the IP location matched in Tencent IP database. At this time, you can submit your current correct geographic information on the "Your Current IP" page, and we will add updates in time and display the update results on the "Your Shared IP" page. We will constantly update the IP database information and strive to eliminate the inconvenience caused to users by such reasons. At the same time, please understand that the IP database cannot be 100% accurate.

Reason 2: Proxy server causes that if you use a proxy to surf the Internet, the geographical location of the proxy server you use is displayed on QQ, which may be different from your current actual location.

Reason 3: Unofficial QQ Version Please check whether the version of QQ software you are using is official Tencent software. Only the official version of QQ will use a more accurate IP database.
