How will bamboo react when the weather changes?

If the temperature is low, the bamboo will freeze to death. For example, the spring of 1996 in the South was characterized by low temperatures, continuous rain, and snow, especially in Hunan, Jiangxi, and Guangdong. Such weather was enough to freeze a large bamboo forest to death. The bamboo forests were frozen and turned yellow, which made farmers in the south miserable.

So, bamboo is a thermophilic plant. Once the temperature is below 10℃ and it is wet and cold, bamboo will die.
