Where is the old faucet?

What information do I need to know to visit the Old Dragon Head?

Laolongtou is located 5 kilometers south of Shanhaiguan, Qinhuangdao City.

The old dragon head is the place where the Ming Great Wall enters the sea in the east, and connects to the nine gates of the Great Wall on the water in the east. The stone city entering the sea is like a dragon's head probing into the sea and making waves, hence the name "old dragon head".

The terrain of the old dragon head is high and steep, and there is a "Stone City into the Sea" built by Qi Jiguang, the chief soldier of Jiyun Town in the Ming Dynasty. The most famous building is Chenghai Tower, which is known as "The Great Wall connects the sea with the sky, and people fly hundreds of feet to the top".

About 2 meters into the Bohai Sea, it is made of huge stones, half above sea level and half underwater. It is said that when it was first built, many iron pots were buried under the sea level to reduce the impact of seawater on the building, and the unique construction method was recorded in the history of architecture.

The wall of the building is inlaid with several lying tablets written by historical celebrities, and the cultural relics unearthed near the old faucet are displayed in the building. There is a unique stone tablet engraved with four vigorous characters of "Tiankai Haiyue" on the platform 3 floors south of Chenghai Building. Standing upstairs, you can see the vast sea in the south.
