Where is Zhongshuitang Hot Spring?

Zhongshuitang hot spring

Zhongshuitang Hot Spring is located in Zhongshuitang Village, Sansumu Township, Liangcheng County, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia. It was originally named "Mapo Spring", because its south faces the sea, so it is also called Daihai Hot Spring. Warm mineral water overflows all year round, relieving pains and diseases, and is famous beyond the Great Wall. Even if the ground freezes for three feet and nine days, the spring water does not freeze, but emits hot air. The colder the weather, the greater the steam and the higher the water temperature, which makes people feel slightly hot. It is a godsend, a treasure spring beyond the Great Wall.

There are many legends about the formation of Zhongshuitang Hot Spring. It is said that Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty visited the Great Wall in the17th century. When he came to Zhongshuitang Village on the north bank of Daihai in Liangcheng County, it was a hot summer day, scorching sun and people were exhausted. When people were worried that they couldn't quench their thirst, they saw his mount hissing, his front hoof flying and grabbing the ground hard, so a clear spring gushed out. To commemorate this event, this spring was called "Mapo Spring", and Xianghui Temple was built to form a hot spring pool, which has been passed down to this day. Kublai Khan of Yuan Shizu fell into a deep pit in a battle on the north bank of Daihai, and suddenly stepped on the collapsed spring, and the water overflowed. People couldn't see him, thought he was drowned, and cried. After a while, Yuan Shizu came to the ground sweating and said with a smile, "I stepped into a spring and took a hot bath today. You don't like it. Why are you crying that I died young? " This spring is today's Zhongshui Reservoir Hot Spring. The legend of unofficial history cannot be verified, but there is no doubt that Zhongshuitang Hot Spring was formed at the latest in Qing Dynasty. According to historical records, every summer, princes and nobles, celebrities, literati and Buddhist monks from all over the surrounding areas gather in Liangcheng, or go up the mountain to worship Buddha, or pass on scriptures and give alms, or soak in hot springs, or visit Daihai to appreciate the taste of Shan Ye. In the 1970s, due to the villagers' blasting to expand the spring, the spring flow not only dropped sharply, but also dried up.

1May, 1989, after detailed investigation, the geological exploration department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region drilled a spring near Mapaoquan, and the new spring was completed in June, 1990. The spring water, like a silver snake with a thick bowl mouth, jumps out of the wellhead and is spectacular. The former "Mapo Spring" has not only lost its charm, but also greatly increased its water volume. According to the measurement, the spring water has a normal temperature of 38℃ and a sunrise volume of 2,700 tons, which is a rare geothermal resource in Inner Mongolia. 199 1 summer, Daihai hot spring bath center opened. Today's hot spring bath center buildings overlap.

Tourists are like clouds, becoming a holy place for bathing and sightseeing. Spring water contains trace elements such as strontium, lithium, zinc and selenium, as well as a certain amount of silicic acid and trace radioactive elements, which can cure vitiligo, psoriasis, scabies, varicose veins, skin allergy, skin cracking and other skin diseases. At the same time, it also has an auxiliary effect on rheumatic low back pain and gastropathy. Its development and utilization prospects are very broad. It can not only be used for people's medical purposes, but also provide useful chemical elements and compounds. It can be used in industry, culture, sports and other aspects, and can also be widely used in agriculture, such as building geothermal greenhouses, raising seedlings, planting vegetables, cultivating strains, incubating poultry, raising fish in warm water and aquatic plants.
