Where is Guangdong in China?
Guangzhou center is located at 23 degrees 06 minutes 32 seconds north latitude and 1 13 degrees 15 minutes 53 seconds east longitude. Guangzhou is located in the south of China, the south-central part of Guangdong Province and the northern edge of the Pearl River Delta. It is the confluence of Xijiang River, Beijiang River and Dongjiang River, near the South China Sea in China.
It borders Boluo and Longmen counties in the east, Sanshui, Nanhai and Shunde in the west, Qingyuan, Fogang and Xinfeng counties in the north, Dongguan and Zhongshan in the south, and faces Hong Kong and Macao across the sea. It is one of the starting points of the Maritime Silk Road, the "South Gate" of China and the core city of Guangfo Metropolitan Area, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Metropolitan Area and Pearl River Delta Metropolitan Area.
Guangzhou is a hilly area. The terrain is high in the northeast and low in the southwest, with mountains in the north and northeast, hills and terraces in the middle and alluvial plains in the Pearl River Delta in the south. The Pearl River, the third largest river in China, flows through Guangzhou.

The climate here is pleasant, and it is one of the largest cities with the smallest annual average temperature difference in China.
Guangzhou belongs to the south subtropical monsoon climate, with its back to the mountains and the sea. It is characterized by warm and rainy weather, sufficient light and heat, long summer and short frost period. In the same period of water and heat throughout the year, abundant rainfall is conducive to plant growth, which provides excellent conditions for Guangzhou, a "flower city" with evergreen seasons and blooming flowers.
