Development history of county jurisdiction
From the founding of the People's Republic to 1985, the administrative divisions of Huoshan County have changed greatly. In which 1949 has 5 districts, 29 townships, 2 townships and 143 villages;
1983, commune changed to township, and production brigade was village. The county has 7 districts, 1 district-level town, 42 townships and 1 town-level town, which governs 286 villages and residential areas.
1985 There are 7 districts in the county, 1 district-level town, 35 townships and 9 township-level towns, with 282 administrative villages and 5 residential areas under its jurisdiction.
1986, the county has 7 districts, 1 district-level town, 35 townships, 9 town-level towns and 283 villages.
1992, the original seven districts were revoked. After the merger of Chengguan Town and its neighboring towns, the district-level towns were changed to townships. Together with the original 44 towns, it is merged into 24 towns, 273 villages and 14 streets.
200 1 The three villages of Shuilun River, Songjiahe and Wangshenmiao in Mozitan Town were merged into Songjiahe Village, and the two villages of Jinjiachong and Mozitan were merged into Mozitan Village.

In 2005, the Anhui provincial government identified the original Huoshan Eco-industrial Park as Anhui Huoshan Economic Development Zone. Chengdong Community, which originally belonged to Hengshan Town, was placed under the jurisdiction of the Development Zone.
