Do foxes hibernate?

The fox is in a semi-hibernation state.

Foxes store food in spring and put it in the ice and snow about 2 meters deep from the ground to prevent other carnivores from stealing food. Generally, it doesn't come out in winter. Even if it comes out to eat, it can be said that the fox is half hibernating.

Growth and reproduction

Give birth to babies in February-May every year, usually 3 -6 per fetus. The fox is very vigilant. If someone finds the fox in its nest, it will "move" that night in case something happens.

The mother fox usually estrus and mate from February to May every year. The gestation period is about 5 1 ~ 52 days, and each fetus may give birth to 6 ~ 8 babies. When I was born, my whole body was black and gray, and only the tip of my nose was pink. They can't see anything when they are born, and they have to rely on their mother's protection and feeding.
