What are the main cotton-producing prefecture-level cities and counties in China? (Preferably ranking)

Five major cotton areas, namely: South China cotton area, Yangtze River basin cotton area, Yellow River basin cotton area, extra-early cotton area and northwest inland cotton area.

Ⅰ. Cotton Region in Yangtze River Basin

This area has the highest level of cotton production. The southern border starts from Daiyun Mountain in Fujian, runs along Wuling Mountain in the north of Guangdong and Guangxi, crosses the watershed in central Guizhou and reaches Daliangshan in Sichuan. In the north, it is bounded by Qinling Mountains, Huaihe River and Subei main canal; West from the eastern foot of the western Sichuan Plateau; To the east is the seaside. The area of cotton fields accounts for about 44% of the whole country, and the total output accounts for about 53% of the whole country. Good hydrothermal conditions and plenty of sunshine in rainy days are conducive to fruitful peaches in autumn. There are many spring rains, often autumn rains, which are not conducive to seedling growth and spitting. Basically, it is intercropping between grain and cotton. Suitable for cultivating medium-mature upland cotton. The main pests and diseases are seedling diseases, boll diseases, cotton bollworm, red spider, and citrus verticillium wilt in some areas.

The region is divided into four sub-regions: the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the Nanxiang Basin.

Ⅱ. Cotton Region in the Yellow River Basin

This area is the largest main cotton producing area in China. Located in the north of the cotton area in the Yangtze River basin; The northern boundary starts from Shanhaiguan, goes west along the Great Wall in Hebei, then goes south along the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain, turns from Tiantai Mountain in Henan (north of Jiyuan) to Huoshan Mountain in Shanxi (west of Huoxian County), and then passes through Beishan Mountain in Shaanxi (north of Pucheng and Fengxiang) to Minshan Mountain in southern Gansu. Longnan in the west and the seaside in the east. The area of cotton fields accounts for about 50% of the whole country, and the total output accounts for about 43% of the whole country. Moderate hydrothermal conditions and sufficient sunshine in spring and autumn in this area are beneficial to the early development, stable growth and boll opening of cotton. The rainy season in summer tends to aggravate the shedding of blooming buds and bells. Most places are still dominated by one crop a year; Some cotton fields promote grain (oil) cotton intercropping. Suitable for cultivating middle and early maturity upland cotton. Verticillium wilt and Fusarium wilt often occur together and spread rapidly in old cotton areas. Root disease mostly occurs at seedling stage. The main pests are cotton aphid and cotton bollworm, and the red spider is sometimes heavier in some areas.

The region is divided into four sub-regions: Huaibei Plain, North China Plain, Loess Plateau and Early Maturing Cotton Region.

Ⅲ. Northwest Inland Cotton Region

This is a cotton planting area with a long history and great development prospects. This area is to the west of Liupanshan Mountain, including Xinjiang, Hexi Corridor in Gansu and irrigation area along the Yellow River. The abundant sunshine, arid climate and large temperature difference in this area are beneficial to the stable growth of cotton, with low abscission rate of buds and bolls and high economic yield coefficient. Medium-early maturity upland cotton or medium-early maturity island cotton can be planted. Cotton fields are harvested once a year and cultivated flat. Cotton diseases and insect pests are light. The most special thing is that there are no red bollworms and no cotton aphids. Cotton fields account for more than 5% of the country. Dongjiang and southern Xinjiang are the largest long-staple cotton bases in China at present, and the output of long-staple cotton accounts for about 1/5 of the total local cotton output.

This area is bounded by Tianshan Mountain and divided into three sub-regions: southern Xinjiang, eastern Xinjiang, northern Xinjiang and Hexi Corridor.

Ⅳ. Extra-early-maturing cotton areas in northern China

This is a cotton growing area with a small area and a short history. This area is located in the northern part of the cotton region in the Yellow River Basin, and its northern boundary is roughly equivalent to the active accumulated temperature line of 2600℃. Cotton producing areas are mainly in Liaoning, including sporadic producing areas such as northern Hebei, northern Shaanxi and Longdong. The heat condition in this area is poor, and only early-maturing and extra-early-maturing upland cotton can be planted. Adequate sunshine, long sunshine time in summer and large temperature difference between day and night are beneficial to bear more peaches. Cotton fields are harvested once a year, and cotton pests and diseases are light. In the 1970s, due to the continuous chilling injury and the impact of grain squeezing, the cotton field area in this cotton area was repeatedly compressed, about 1.8 million mu of cotton field, accounting for only 2% of the national total output and only a little more than 1% of the national total.

ⅴ. South China Cotton Region

This is the earliest area to develop cotton production in China, but now it has evolved into a sporadic area with the smallest cotton planting area. This area is in the south of the Yangtze River valley. Heat resources are particularly rich, and there is a lot of rain. In some places, there is no frost all year round, and cotton will not die after winter, which is suitable for planting medium-mature island cotton and medium-late mature upland cotton. Most cotton fields are harvested twice a year. Generally, deep furrows and high ridges are used, and sowing in spring or autumn and winter. Due to the hot and rainy climate, general pests and diseases are quite serious. The disease is mainly a serious rotten bell. There are many kinds of pests, often overlapping generations and occurring in large numbers. Due to the natural characteristics of this area, it is more conducive to planting other cash crops, so the cotton field area has been reduced again and again. At present, the area of cotton field is only tens of thousands of mu, and the yield per mu is very low, and commercial cotton is rarely provided.

In order to solve these problems that cotton textile enterprises are highly concerned about, our reporter specially interviewed relevant institutions, enterprises and professionals, and presented their views to readers in the form of a series of reports, so please pay attention.

The situation in main cotton producing areas is different.

□ Comprehensive arrangement by our reporter Li Juan.

According to the latest survey of the National Cotton Information Network, the total cotton output in China in 2007 was about 7.26 million tons, which was somewhat lower than the 7.63 million tons adjusted in the previous year, and the overall quality of new cotton was slightly lower. At present, the average picking progress of new cotton in China is above 90%, the average acquisition progress is close to 70%, and the average sales progress is around 30%. Specific to the main cotton producing areas, the situation is different.

The acquisition progress in Xinjiang is relatively fast.

According to the forecast of Xinjiang Development and Reform Commission, the cotton output in Xinjiang will reach 2.45 million tons in 2007, up 12.3% year-on-year. A few days ago, data showed that the cotton-producing counties in Xinjiang130,000 tons, but many cotton enterprises in Xinjiang believe that the local cotton production this year is not as good as before. At present, the local cotton picking progress is faster, reaching more than 90%, the cotton sales progress of cotton farmers is close to 70%, and the average purchase price is 5.8 1 yuan/kg. By the end of 10, Xinjiang had purchased new cotton 1 105500 tons and shipped 3 16000 tons of cotton.

Affected by factors such as cotton farmers' reluctance to sell, enterprises' cautious collection of money and slow acquisition funds, the cotton acquisition market in Wusu City, Xinjiang is relatively deserted this year. By June 5438+00, 2007, 36 cotton processing enterprises in this city had purchased more than 654.38+10,000 tons of seed cotton, the quality of cotton had declined, and the purchase price of cotton remained relatively stable at 5.50~6.09 yuan/kg.

It is also known that cotton prices in Naxi County, Xinjiang have not fluctuated much this year, and cotton purchases are in good order. The average purchasing price of new cotton is 5.86 yuan/kg, the average selling price is 1 1770 yuan/ton, and the cotton content is between 36.8% and 37.9%. At present, the county has purchased 910.6 million tons of seed cotton, processed 29,500 tons of lint, and sold 210.3 million tons of lint.

Shandong cotton farmers are reluctant to sell.

According to the prediction of Shandong Provincial Bureau of Statistics, the cotton output in Shandong this year will reach10.05 million tons, up 2.7% year-on-year. The picking progress of new cotton in Shandong is faster, reaching over 90%. However, due to the serious reluctance of cotton farmers in the early stage, the progress of cotton sales was slow. At present, it is only over 40%, which is one of the slowest areas in China. The purchase price of Shandong new cotton is relatively high, close to 6.4 yuan/kg, which is at a relatively high level in recent years.

As one of the main cotton producing areas in Shandong, Dezhou's total cotton output this year is expected to be 4.94 million tons. As of June165438+1October 12, the acquisition progress of new cotton in this city exceeded 70%. This year, the quality of cotton in this city is good, with the average grade increased by 0.3, and the average lint percentage increased by 38.5% and 65,438 0.8% respectively. According to the current purchase price of seed cotton, the cost price of standard three-grade lint in this city is about 13600 yuan/ton, which is basically the same as the sales price, and even "upside down", making only about 60% of cotton enterprises in this city open scales.

At present, the purchase price of seed cotton in Heze, Shandong Province is 6.5 yuan/kg, and the percentage of seed cotton is about 38%. As some cotton farmers are still reluctant to sell, the operating rate of the local ginning factory is less than 30%. At present, the local lint cotton is sold well, but the price is low, which is between 13200- 13500 yuan/ton, mainly because the seed cotton sold by cotton farmers is not graded, and the processed lint cotton is only 4 grades.

Jiangsu's production reduction is a foregone conclusion.

Affected by persistent bad weather and insect pests, the reduction of cotton production in Jiangsu Province is a foregone conclusion. The cotton output of this province is expected to be 340,000 tons this year. At present, the cotton picking progress in Jiangsu Province is over 70%, the cotton selling progress is about 40%, and the purchase price of seed cotton is 5.77 yuan/kg, which is higher than last year's level.

As of165438+1October 15, Sheyang County, Jiangsu Province has put in lint1kloc-0/2,900 tons, accounting for 80% of the estimated total output13 million tons, which is the first time since the county. The local purchase price is relatively stable. Since the acquisition, the price of seed cotton has been maintained at around 6.36 yuan/kg. The purchase price of seed cotton in the later period may fall due to factors such as grade and lint percentage, but it will not be lower than that of 6.2 yuan, and it will increase by 1 yuan/kg, or by 19.2%. At present, cotton picking in the county has entered the final stage.

The price of seed cotton in Henan is higher.

The situation of new cotton acquisition and marketing in Shandong Province is similar to that in Henan Province. Henan Province is expected to produce 650,000 tons of cotton this year. At present, the picking of new cotton is smooth, with a progress of 95%. However, due to the serious reluctance of cotton farmers to sell, the delivery progress is only 40%, and the purchase price of new cotton is relatively high, reaching 6.4 yuan/kg.

Recently, after the purchase price of seed cotton reached 6.7 yuan/kg, cotton farmers in Fugou County of Henan Province finally began to sell new cotton, and the situation of seed cotton purchase improved accordingly. However, according to local sources, as cotton processing enterprises compete for resources, the price of seed cotton will have room for further improvement. At that time, cotton farmers will be reluctant to sell again, and the market will be deadlocked. According to the processing fee of 400 yuan/ton, the actual cost of cotton folding is 13500~ 13600 yuan/ton, and the local sales price is 13800 yuan/ton.

Compared with the high purchase price of seed cotton in Fugou County, the situation in Nanyang, Henan Province is slightly better. The purchase price of local seed cotton is 6.36~6.56 yuan/kg, and the general processing cost is maintained at 1.32 million yuan ~ 1.35 million yuan/ton. The local lint is mainly Grade 3, and the selling price is 1.36 million yuan/ton. The low profit of processing enterprises leads to poor sales of lint.

Hebei's acquisition is mixed.

It is understood that as of June 5438+065438+1October 15, cotton enterprises in Hebei Province have purchased seed cotton1150,000 tons, processed lint 368,000 tons and sold lint 264,000 tons. Based on 37% lint percentage, the province has purchased 425,500 tons of lint, accounting for 64.4% of the output.

Recently, due to the sharp increase of cottonseed price and the reduction of lint processing cost, various cotton purchasing enterprises in Baoding City, Hebei Province have raised their purchasing prices and increased their purchasing volume. 165438+1October16th, the purchase price of local tertiary seed cotton is 6.5 yuan/kg (37% lint percentage), which is equivalent to lint cost 1345 1 yuan/ton. The sales price of local grade 3 lint is still stable at 13500~ 13700 yuan/ton.

Affected by the high price of seed cotton, the purchase of seed cotton in xian county, Hebei Province has decreased significantly recently, and the lint market is relatively deserted. It is understood that on June 5438+065438+1October 19, the purchase price of local third-grade seed cotton was 6.8 yuan/kg (40% lint percentage). Based on the processing fee of 500 yuan/ton, the equivalent lint cost was 13200 yuan/ton. At present, the local selling price of Grade 3 lint is 13600 yuan/ton.
