(2) Development goal: By 20 15, a modern meteorological service with reasonable layout, complete functions and advanced technology will be initially established. Realize the stable operation of the global/regional four-dimensional variational assimilation system based on GRAPES and the numerical prediction systems of GRAPES and T639; Weather monitoring, analysis, forecasting and early warning services with disastrous weather as the main content have been improved, and the advance and accuracy of forecasting have been effectively improved; The refinement and accuracy of meteorological element forecast, quantitative precipitation forecast and severe weather regional forecast have been further improved; Develop extended weather forecasting technology, and the forecasting ability is obviously improved; Ensemble forecasting technology is widely used in medium-term and long-term forecasting and probability forecasting of disastrous weather. The ability of forecasters to apply mesoscale model to product diagnosis analysis and comprehensive analysis of various data is obviously improved. Initially realize the modernization of meteorological business technology and supporting means, rationalization of business processes, refinement of business products and specialization of business division (see attached table 1 for specific indicators).
