Origin of Hongya Yuping River: Yuping Town, Hongya County is located in the southwest of Hongya County, Ya 'an City, Sichuan Province, China, adjacent to Emei Mountain Scenic Area. It is located by the river, named after Yuping River. Yuping River is a small river located at the junction of Sichuan Basin and Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, which originates from Emei Mountain and flows through Hongya County. This river flows from the west side of Yuping Town and becomes a natural boundary of the town.
