C) Whether the opening can be opened and closed flexibly, whether the hardware fittings are dysfunctional or damaged, and whether the mounting screws (bolts) are loose and invalid.
D) whether the drainage is smooth, etc.
E) After the curtain wall has been used for 10 years, the bonding performance and aging of the structural silicone sealants in different parts of the project shall be sampled and inspected every 1 year/time thereafter.
5) When the curtain wall suffers from strong winds, fires, earthquakes and other disasters, professional and technical personnel should conduct a comprehensive inspection of the curtain wall, and make a maintenance plan according to the damage degree, and repair or replace the damaged components and panels. Conduct a comprehensive prestress inspection and adjustment for the curtain wall of prestressed tie rod or cable structure.
6) The owner shall determine the cleaning frequency according to the degree of ash and fume pollution on the surface of curtain wall, but it shall not be less than once a year. According to the requirements of the curtain wall operation and maintenance manual, choose appropriate cleaning solution, and do not impact or damage the curtain wall during cleaning.
