Xiqing District is a municipal district of Tianjin and one of the four-ring cities in Tianjin. Formerly known as Xijiao,1March 1992 was renamed Xiqing District, and the government was stationed in Yangliuqing Town. Xiqing District is located in the southwest of Tianjin, bordering Hongqiao District and Nankai District in the east, facing Jinghai District across the river by Duliujian River in the south, bordering wuqing district and Bazhou City in Hebei Province in the west and Ziya River in the north. The natural terrain is high in the west and low in the east, with a length of 48 kilometers from north to south and a width of 1 1 km from east to west, with a total area of 545 square kilometers.
The land-making era of Xiqing District began in the middle and late Tang Dynasty. The Northern Song Dynasty is the dividing line between Song and Liao. In the Ming Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Jinghai County and Wuqing County of Hejian Prefecture, and in the Qing Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Tianjin Prefecture. Xiqing District is criss-crossed with rivers and ditches, and pits and ponds are densely covered. There are three first-class rivers in China, namely Zhongting River, Ziya River and Duliujian River. Geomorphology and Climate Characteristics in Xiqing District
Xiqing District is located in the northeast of North China Plain, with low terrain and relatively high northwest, with an altitude of about 5m. The southeast is slightly lower, with an altitude of about 2.5m; the lowest point in the middle is only 15m above sea level. There are several dish-shaped depressions in the territory, such as Lianhua Lake, Hamawa Lake and Jinxi Dawa Lake. Xiqing District has a warm temperate and semi-humid continental monsoon climate, with distinct wet and dry seasons and obvious alternation between cold and summer. Affected by Siberian air mass, it is cold and dry in winter. It is rainy, windy and dry in spring, and the temperature changes obviously.
In summer, due to the influence of Pacific subtropical high and southwest warm and humid airflow, the weather is sultry and the precipitation is concentrated; Autumn is controlled by high pressure, and the weather is sunny and cool. The annual average temperature is 1 1.6℃, and the annual frost-free period is 203 days, with little interannual change. The total sunshine in the whole year is 28 10.4 hours. The total amount of natural precipitation is 586. 1 mm, including 443.2 mm in summer.
