Kimura's Tourism Resources

Kimura is rich in ancient trees, ancient temples, ancient houses and other tourism resources, and there are reservoirs and many ponds in the vicinity. Therefore, with the change of residents' consumption concept, Kimura can be developed into a scenic spot integrating leisure and vacation, sightseeing, learning agriculture, water swimming and outing, and become a tourist attraction for Nanning residents' leisure and vacation and agricultural sightseeing. There is a group of ancient trees at the head of the village, which is the "Feng Shui Forest" in the village. These trees have a history of 100 years. The shrine in the center of the foot of the tree is used by villagers to burn incense at any time. It is this sacred mystery that makes these old trees survive the vicissitudes of a hundred years and escape the storms of generations in history, especially when they were cut down during steelmaking in the 1950s. There are many kinds of trees in the "Fengshui Forest", among which the precious ones are Ficus macrophylla, Ficus microphylla, Cinnamomum camphora, Ficus pseudodermata, Tieling tree and South China Park. One of the most precious is the blood-sealed tree, which is the most poisonous tree in the world, and its juice is highly toxic. Contact with a bleeding wound will make people's heart stop beating and splash into people's eyes, and people's eyes will be blind immediately. On the hillside behind the village, there are three bloody trees, one of which caught fire because the children in the village smoked the bees in the tree hole to eat honey. Most of the branches were burned, but most of them were still well preserved.

In order to prevent bandits from invading, the old village built a 4-meter-high stone wall. This wall is strong, easy to defend but difficult to attack. Zhazhai City Wall has more than ten gates, including East Gate, West Gate, South Gate, North Gate, Transverse Gate and Fine Gate. Most of them have collapsed because of age. The walls of the ancient stockade are all made of stones. Due to the limitation of conditions at that time, it was impossible to use lime or cement for jointing, so a cactus-like plant, Pangui Lotus, was planted, which is a vine. Fan Guilian's vines and roots can be tightly entangled with stones, especially in Gu Men. The stone on the top of the door that is about to collapse is tightly entangled with Fan Guilian's roots, and it has not collapsed for hundreds of years, which is called ancient "bioengineering". At the same time, because its stems are covered with smooth thorns, the ancient village walls are easy to defend but difficult to attack, so Kimura can live in peace in the era of robbery! There is an ancient stage next to the village head school. Every year on the 15th day of the first month or some large-scale festivals, the village will hold parties or entertainment activities here. There is also a special festival-"Old People's Day". On the "Old People's Day", all the old people over 50 can come here. The village will prepare a delicious meal for these old people and hold a party to celebrate their birthdays.

There are no young men and women in the village. Most young people have gone out to work in Guangdong and other places. There are only old people and children left in the village. The folk customs here are simple, and the weather in Nanning is hot. The old people are enjoying the cool under the tree with their walking dolls in their arms. Rural residents have been sitting in alleys for a long time, lying under big trees to enjoy the cool, and living a natural life of "the mountains are as quiet as ancient times, and the days are as long as small years". That kind of leisurely scene reminds you of life in the Peach Blossom Garden, which makes people who are used to the busyness of the city and the pollution of the environment envious!
