Among the more than 300 locomotives in Hefei Locomotive Depot of Shanghai Railway Bureau, the most striking one is party member Pioneer. The driver is 49-year-old party member, Jessy, a model worker of the Ministry of Railways.

With his fascination with locomotives, he mastered the superb skills of driving and training locomotives, and the trains ran smoothly and safely, becoming a famous "technical master" on the railway line.

Cardiac safety

On April 18 this year, the Hefei-Wuhu-Xinyang section was opened, and the first train was operated in Jessy. It's almost a rule. Within the jurisdiction of Hefei Locomotive Depot, every time a new line is opened, it must be Jessy who runs the first trip. Because there is not much information on the new line and the road conditions are unknown, ordinary drivers dare not take this trip. As soon as he got on the locomotive and stood in front of the bridge, Jessy was in high spirits. While driving the locomotive in strict accordance with the operating rules, he carefully observed the situation along the way and recorded it as first-hand driving information. The bus arrived at Xinyang Station, not one minute earlier or one minute later, which was safe and punctual. The parking positions are inconsistent, and the locomotive stops firmly in the parking position.

Runners, pulling thousands of passengers behind the locomotive, are not only safe and punctual, but also very comfortable. Novices hitch a ride, "nod when driving, kowtow when stopping"-the locomotive starts and the passengers bow their heads. Be tireless in seeking knowledge

From the first day he boarded the motorcycle, he integrated his efforts, life and motorcycle. Take a ride with the master, go home and learn from books, and ponder over it again and again. Every time he goes out, he observes carefully and records carefully. He knows well how different routes, different road conditions, different seasons and different weather affect driving and how to deal with it. He was among the best in every technical contest and technical examination in Li Duan and the Bureau.

With the continuous development of science and technology, China's locomotives are constantly upgrading. As a driver, Jessy took the lead in learning new technologies. In March 2004, Dongfeng 4DK returned from Dalian Locomotive Works, and Jessy immediately organized the crew to study. He even forgets to eat and sleep day and night, copying more than a dozen circuit diagrams, taking them with him at any time to learn and ask technicians. After 10 days of intensive training and digestion, the crew all mastered the performance and characteristics of the new locomotive and quickly adapted to the operation method of the new model.

In practice, Jessy also explored and summarized the "three diligence" maintenance method of bearing bush, namely "frequent oil change, frequent cleaning and frequent inspection"; A series of working methods and experiences such as "high-speed adjustment, balanced braking, small braking force and small traction" have become models for many locomotives to learn.

On April 4th, this year, Jumbo Machine Class undertook the traction task of K67 express train from Qingdao to Fuzhou. When the garage arrived in Jixi, Jessy suddenly heard the abnormal sound of the diesel engine running. After inspection, the oil supply pull rod failed. He resolutely decided to remove two cylinders and work with another 14 cylinder, thus avoiding a diesel engine damage accident. In recent years, Jessy has prevented more than 120 accidents and safely operated 1600 times. Save 340 tons of fuel and 654.38 million yuan of various materials.

Zuiai locomotive

1 July, 9991day, Jessy Locomotive Depot was named "Pioneer" Locomotive Depot in party member by the Party Committee of Hefei Locomotive Depot, and six people in the locomotive depot took locomotives as their home. They bought a silk flower, put it in the driver's cab, and spread the carpet at home on the motorcycle. They also made two sets of curtains and chair covers for the cab. Finally, they wrote a pair of couplets "Be brave in struggle and be willing to be a model" and put them on the locomotive, which made the atmosphere at home stronger.

Jubo takes the car as his home, but his small home has become a "hotel". For more than 20 years, he spent almost all the Spring Festival on motorcycles. Although he remembers the birthdays of his wife and children, he never celebrates them. But there is a birthday that Jessy will never forget: 1 July. On this day every year, he will buy a cake with "Happy Birthday to Pioneer" written in red cream. He would say excitedly, "Today is the pioneer's birthday. We don't drink. Let's drink to the pioneer! " After the "birthday party" last year, he began to consider saving fuel for motorcycles. At that time, after the locomotive was replaced, the fuel consumption generally exceeded the standard, and everyone was arguing about the reason. Finally, the breakthrough is the power of diesel engines. After that, no matter which train class you take, you should record the train composition, tonnage, diesel engine speed and locomotive fuel consumption in detail. After many tests and improvement of the working conditions of diesel supercharger and injector, the problem of excessive fuel consumption was finally solved, and "Pioneer" took the lead in becoming a fuel-saving locomotive. Therefore, Jessy was awarded the title of "Manipulation Expert" by Shanghai Railway Bureau.
