How to arrange a half-day tour of Yuyuantan

Half-day trip to Yuyuantan On April 2, the sun was shining brightly, and a group of four friends went to Yuyuantan to see the cherry blossoms. Every April is the Cherry Blossom Festival in Yuyuantan. Tickets for Yuyuantan are usually 2 yuan, monthly tickets are 4 yuan; tickets for the Cherry Blossom Festival are 5 yuan. If it is morning, it is best to enter the park before 9 o'clock. While there are not many people around, first find some beautiful cherry blossoms to take photos, and then go to the boating place to rent a boat at 10 o'clock.

A few friends will swim in the lake together, which is very comfortable:) After 10 o'clock, you can't rent a boat. When people have had enough fun, the boats will start coming back. It was difficult to wait for the boat. We went there after 12 noon, and people had already left the garden. It is the main entrance of Yuyuantan, the west gate. There are basically no parking spaces at 10 o'clock, and there are cars all around. We entered through the small gate on the northwest, which was not developed a few years ago. Now that everyone is resting, there are still many people.

There are groups of twos and threes in every corner, and there are always people rushing to take photos under the beautiful cherry blossom trees. Follow the path and take photos as you go. Under a cherry blossom tree with drooping branches, a sign hangs saying that today is the first day the cherry blossom tree blooms. Because it was early April, many of the cherry blossoms in Guanshan, which bloomed in mid-to-late April, were still bare. Most of the cherry blossoms in the entire garden are light pink, with occasional white cherry blossoms.

In mid-to-late April, you can see deep pink or even red cherry blossoms. Where there is a small path for paddling, it is a bit dangerous to step on rocks in the water. I used to walk casually, but now I'm stopped and have to walk a long way. There are pedal boats and battery boats in Yuyuantan, with the dock in the northwest of the lake; there is also a paddle boat, with the dock in the south of the lake. Pedal boat for 4 people is 50 yuan/hour, and the deposit is 200 yuan.

There are also pedal boats for five or six people, priced at 40 yuan/hour for five people. I don’t know why it is cheaper than the four-seater, and I haven’t seen any five-seater in the lake:) Now the timing is computerized, and you can buy timed tickets. You can get on the boat the moment you buy the ticket, and you can get off the boat the moment you refund the deposit, so hurry up. After buying the ticket, you should get on and off the boat, haha. Fortunately, when we got off the boat, another classmate made a timely decision.

We spent 1 hour and 29 minutes and collected 75 yuan. It would be cheaper if it could be paddled. I remember it was 20 yuan/hour. Get off the boat and prepare to leave through the south gate. There is a small zoo over there. From a distance, it seemed like no animals were left. The ticket seems to be 3 yuan. I've seen proud peacocks before. Passing by a place to buy cold drinks, he actually said that he didn't have a scoop of ice cream and wanted to buy some sorbet. They are really expensive, 3 yuan each, and taste terrible.

After leaving the south gate, we were very tired and did not go to the small zoo anymore. Outside the south gate is the China Millennium Monument. There is a large grassy area. In spring, there are always many people flying kites, and there is a big bell in the middle. When the weather is good, there are children roller skating all day long, which is also a small sight. You can also visit the Military Museum on the way. If you come out of the west gate of Yuyuantan, you can also take a look at the Central Stage. I feel like there are no affordable and clean hotels near Zongyuyuantan.

We walked west along Yuyuantan South Road for two stops (you can also take bus No. 414 and get off at Puhui). There is a Baoyang mutton restaurant in the south of the road. Yanjing beer is actually 1 yuan a bottle. We ordered three plates of meat, three plates of vegetables, one plate of fish balls, one plate of gluten, one plate of frozen tofu, one plate of tofu skin, and one plate of frozen tofu. It's just that the waiters have no sense of service. When guests come, they don’t take the initiative to say hello. He added two plates of meat and only served one plate.

Luckily we remembered it clearly, otherwise they would have overcharged us. So when you go out, remind yourself to be awake, haha. All in all, we had a great time. The four of us spent about 250 yuan per night because we also bought some snacks in the park. If we bring our own snacks, it won't be so expensive.
