It has been 56 years since I left my hometown. But every May of the lunar calendar, I naturally think of the "May Festival" in my hometown. Besides delicious food, there is also fun! This day is really interesting.

Early in the morning, my mother cut kudzu vine, Su Mao, wormwood and calamus from the mountain and hung them on the lintel of the gate and room. I asked my mother why she hung these things. She only said: this is to ward off evil spirits. Dad said: Kudzu is hung to commemorate Huang Chao, the leader of the peasant uprising in the late Tang Dynasty; Zan: Hakka virtuous woman who carried her nephew who was older than her son and ran away with her son who was younger than her nephew. As for hanging Ai, it is also to commemorate the great sense of abandoning parents older than my nephew and fleeing with my little nephew when the satrap Deng You and Emperor Jinhui saved Shibi Village in Ninghua. As for the Dragon Boat Festival to commemorate Qu Yuan's death, only intellectuals know it better. Dad prepared sugar, incense sticks, fruits and so on, and went to guanyin temple to worship Guanyin with his mother. When we arrived in guanyin temple, all the fruits brought by families were placed on the table. Guanyin fasting is a god in the sky, so it is put on the table. The three sacrificial wine sticks in the basket or basket were placed on the ground, and the adults said that they were for the dragon god. First of all, children pray silently like adults. After about 20 minutes of salute, the children were given candy and biscuits, and they all laughed from ear to ear.

There is a "Dragon Boat Club" in our village. It is said that Duke Joan made a fortune of "ten thousand yuan" and divided an acre of land. As a dragon boat driver, he spends hundreds of kilograms of food every year. In order to make children and grandchildren feel at home without clamoring to go to "Zhou" (Meicheng) to watch dragon boat rowing.

As far as I know, for several years, the people who built dragon boats were all fire-born uncles in old houses. Because he built a dragon boat, everyone called him "Longsheng". Dragon boat is made of eight-foot long-rooted (large) bamboo with bamboo joints at both ends, which is broken into 12 skin, and the two ends are tied into bows with bamboo wool, and then the 12 skin is woven into the bottom and side of the boat with velvet. Make a "sheep's head" with bamboo silk, insert it in the bow, and make the stern with paper-cut silk. The whole boat is covered with colored paper and colorful. At ten o'clock in the morning, two adults carried it to the altar of Dacheng Qi King to worship him, and there was a group of colorful flags and drums. The children followed the adults, paid homage to the king, and sent the dragon boat to the first stone bridge. Only the adults carrying the dragon boat shouted, Count, one! Two! Three! Heavy rush, heavy rush threw the dragon boat into the river. In a flash, the gongs and drums were beating vigorously, and an adult threw a basket of vegetable rice, fruit and wine into the river. This is a unique folk custom in our village.

At about three o'clock in the afternoon, the people in the village gathered in the Wo Ping under the pavilion at the bridge head, or on the lip of the road at the pond head board. In hot weather, people waved sunflower fans or white paper fans in their hands, or stood or squatted, or sat or laughed, waiting to see Pan's dragon boat flying in Wukeng. Children are different. After lunch, they will go to the mountain in Wukeng in twos and threes to watch Pan carry a dragon boat to sacrifice to the king. I ran back to the village when I heard firecrackers. It's strange that the weather is still sunny in the afternoon. When offering sacrifices to the king, a large black cloud was generated on the zenith of Wukeng Village. This is a bolt from the blue. After a muffled thunder, it began to rain, almost every year, driving people waiting to see the dragon boat back to the house. After a shower, the river rose a lot (2-3 feet). At this time, I heard the sound of gongs and drums and tons of guns in the distance, and people came out again. Adults began to talk: when the public king appeared, the dragon boat would be washed in front of the sea dragon king in the next heavy rain. Some people say that the practice of Guanyin in Nanhai is neither late nor early. It rained just as the dragon boat was about to launch, didn't it? ..... While arguing endlessly, suddenly a young man shouted: Boss Long, please tell me why Wu deceives people to build dragon boats to pay tribute to our village every year today? After sitting down and smoking a cigarette, boss Long said slowly, Listen, since ancient times, the prince in our village has been very clever. In the past 100 years, there have been two major events: one is to drive away the long-haired thieves, and all the neighboring villages suffer, and our village is safe. It is said that the long-haired thief came to Shizui at the entrance of the village, and the horse and man of the long-haired thief were stung by the Luo Huang bee and could not enter the village. As a result, the thief diverted. I don't know where so many wasps came from at one time. On another occasion, many people died of plague in the villages around Xingmei. Many people were infected and were carried to their ancestral homes for isolation. At that time, medical care was difficult, and everyone went to pray to God and pray for water. In front of the main altar, they boiled water with the roots and leaves of the general, three bowls of water a day, then smoked and washed, and recovered in three days. In Wukeng village, there are three elders of Gong Sect named Pan. That night, all three of them dreamed that the king said that if you want peace, you need to invite the king to protect your village. The next day, the three of them got up and told each other that they had the same dream. The three of them whispered to each other and invited Yu Baishi, the son of the prince in our village. On the dragon neck of the old house, the patients in his village cried on pins and needles that night. More coincidentally, three old people in my village dreamed of the incarnation of the king at the same time. An old man nearby said, "Gong wang xing Shi, wait for Pan San to come here tomorrow and teach them how to boil medicine, which will save people's lives. I have asked them to prepare three kinds of sacrifices to reward them after they are cured. They will build a dragon boat to pay tribute during the Dragon Boat Festival and put it under the bridge. " Sure enough, the next day, six old people discussed in front of the altar of the public king not to break the contract. In the afternoon, the old man in Wukeng decocted medicine and smoked as instructed. Strange, some patients will be fine in a few days. So the promise was realized on the Dragon Boat Festival that year, and it has been kept. In this way, the people of the two villages have closer contacts.

At this time, the sound of gongs and drums is getting closer and closer, and people's attention has also shifted. Look, the dragon boat team turned a corner at the foot of Chashan Mountain and soon reached the bridge. This dragon boat is much more beautiful than in the morning. On the stone bridge, gongs and drums are loud, magnificent and lively. The dragon boat bearer bowed to the altar of the public king three times as a warning. Then he shouted the trumpets of one, two and three, and the gongs and drums came to a brake plate, throwing the dragon boat into the river, which rushed eastward along the drifting river.

At this time, several brave boys went down the river to play outside the dragon boat. Everyone talked and looked into the distance. ...

At night, it is our children's world. There is a small village in front of our house, which is nearly a kilometer long. It is flooded with water as clear as a mirror all the year round, irrigating two or three hundred acres of fertile land. At this time, five or six children took out pine nuts or candle oil prepared in advance, found a small board, put pine nuts and flammable candle oil on the board, and lit it on the water. We call it "Flame Boy". In groups of four, when "Huo Yan Zi" was put into the water, they also shouted "Huo Yan Zi, chug chug! Who is the first? My champion! " And run after it until "Fire Eye" is thrown aside by something, and the champion is the one who walks in front. We also call it an arson boat. The children play tirelessly until dark and ask the adults to come for dinner.

When I sleep at night, I often say in my sleep, "Whoever comes first will win the championship!" " "Wake up the adult's dream!

My hometown, Shuangxi Village, Jingnan Town, xingning city, is so cute! (Xing Huilie)

People's feelings are all rumors.

The feelings of weddings, funerals and celebrations in the five natural villages are similar. On New Year's Eve, the first day of New Year's Eve and the Lantern Festival (the fifteenth day of the first month) are the most lively, with dragon lanterns, lion dances, Kongming lanterns and three kneels and nine knocks to worship ancestors. Every family prepares three treasures to worship their ancestors in the ancestral hall. Worship gods and ancestors, such as Wang Gong and Guanyin.

Every Tomb-Sweeping Day, the vernal equinox, Duanyang, the first day of August, Mid-Autumn Festival and other festivals, there are activities of offering sacrifices to ancestors or several families to visit their graves. As a souvenir.

What is more special is that there are dragon boat parties in Shuangxi Village and Wukeng Village, and there are large-scale grand activities during the Dragon Boat Festival.

The five natural villages have always been friendly and attached importance to culture and education. There is Datong School in Shuangkou (Wu Shuang Primary School and Yujian Primary School after liberation). There are three schools in Shuangxi Village (Wu Shuang Primary School and Juemin Primary School after liberation), which have sent many talents to the country.

3. The torch parade in Yao Xing Village of Jingnan Town is full of fun.

When we entered Yao Xing Village, we were immediately infected by the festive atmosphere and abundant spring. Every household is decorated with lanterns, and everyone laughs and laughs. People who have been busy for a year are busy preparing dishes for relatives and friends, cutting bamboo and making torches for the Lantern Festival in the evening torch parade. This is the busiest time of the year for villagers in Yao Xing.

Yao Xing Village in Jingnan Town is located at the junction of Xingmei and Fiona Fang, with an area of 3 square kilometers. It is a famous "cultural village" and "overseas Chinese village". Luo, a famous Hakka dialectologist in Qing Dynasty, was born here. There are more than 3000 people here at home and abroad. Therefore, the annual Spring Festival Lantern Festival has become a day for their relatives to get together and find their roots, while the torch parade Lantern Festival expresses their joy of reunion and their good wishes for a good weather in the coming year.

Before nightfall, people finished their dinner early, and in groups of three or five, they came to the ancestral temple in the village to watch the lion dance performance and wait for the exciting moment.

This day is a particularly happy day for Yao Xingren every year. Whether local people or people from other places, they regard this day as a good opportunity to get together, talk about family relations and have fun. Therefore, the Lantern Festival here is more grand and warm than the Spring Festival.

At 6 o'clock in the evening, the whole activity officially began. In the sound of firecrackers and drums, the first team leader took the fire. They first came to the place where Roche's ancestors first settled, held a simple ancestor worship ceremony, and then brought fire seeds back to the ancestral temple. At this time, the villagers who had been waiting there cheered. Everyone came to the ancestral temple with torches, lighting the fire which indicated that the ancestors passed down from generation to generation and the family business was prosperous. At this time, the whole mountain village is full of fire trees and silver flowers, gongs and drums are loud, and firecrackers are ringing. The procession consisting of lion dance team, drum team, fireworks and men, women and children holding torches set off from Gong Zu Hall and, led by their elders, traveled all over the village along the village road. ...

The torch reflected the villagers' faces and stirred their hearts, and many relatives joined the team. Nostalgia, attachment and affection for the homeland are now converging into a stream of heat, running on the land where our ancestors struggled.

When the torch parade passed by each door, representatives went out to pick up the lights. Firecrackers sounded, fireworks danced, drums, firecrackers and laughter interwoven into a moving movement. The scene is spectacular.

At this time, Yao Xing Village was immersed in the sea of lights, with red lights hanging high, lights and candles handed over, and torches inserted on the main roads in the village. Colorful fireworks are blooming in the night sky, and the parade is like a dancing dragon, shuttling through the sea of lights. Seen from a distance, the whole mountain village is like the Milky Way falling into the world, and the deep homesickness and the positive spirit of Hakka are intertwined, which is a beautiful picture of joy.

Yao Xing village branch secretary said:

"The fifteenth day of the first month is the Lantern Festival in our village. This activity has a long history. This elegant, healthy and civilized cultural activity is going on every year. It embodies the feelings of the villagers and promotes the construction of the three civilizations and the improvement of the village style. We Hakkas don't forget our ancestors, love our hometown and strive for self-improvement, which is the embodiment of Hakka spirit. "
