Distribution and characteristics of climate types in my country

The distribution and characteristics of my country's climate types are as follows:

The main characteristics of my country's climate can be summarized into two main aspects. One is the complex and changeable climate types, and the other is the continental monsoon climate. Significantly. my country has a vast territory, with a large span from north to south, and has various thermal zones such as tropical, subtropical and temperate zones. This is the main basic reason for the complex and diverse climate types in my country.

The five climate types in my country are temperate monsoon climate, subtropical monsoon climate, tropical monsoon climate, temperate continental climate, and plateau and alpine climate.

1. Temperate monsoon climate

Occurs on the east coast of the Eurasian continent around 35° to 55° north latitude, including North my country and Northeast China, most of North Korea, northern Japan and the Soviet Union part of the Far East.

The winter is cold and dry; the summer is warm, hot and rainy, with rain and heat in the same season. The annual precipitation is about 1,000 mm, about two-thirds concentrated in summer. There are four distinct seasons throughout the year and the weather is changeable. As the latitude increases, the temperature range in winter and summer increases correspondingly, while the precipitation gradually decreases.

2. Subtropical monsoon climate

The subtropical monsoon climate is distributed on the east coast of the subtropical continent between 25° and 35° north latitude. It is controlled alternately and competes with each other between tropical oceanic air masses and polar continental air masses. zone. It is mainly distributed in the area south of the Huaihe River in the Qinling Mountains in eastern my country and north of the tropical monsoon climate type, as well as in southern Japan and the southern part of the Korean Peninsula.

Winter is not cold, with the average temperature in January generally above 0℃. Summer is hotter, with the average temperature in July generally being around 25℃. This type of climate is most typical in southeastern my country. In other areas, since there is a considerable amount of precipitation in winter, there is not much difference between dryness and wetness in winter and summer, so it is called a subtropical monsoon humid climate.

3. Tropical monsoon climate

The latitude is 10 degrees to the Tropic of Cancer, the east coast of the continent. Mainly distributed in southern Taiwan, Leizhou Peninsula, Hainan Island, most areas of Indochina, Indian Peninsula, and the Philippine Islands; in addition, it is also distributed in the northern coastal areas of the Australian continent.
