When is the date of forest fire prevention?

The date of forest fire prevention shall be stipulated by the local government. The date of forest fire prevention in Hunan Province is from June 10 to April 30th of the following year.

According to Article 17 of the Measures for the Implementation of Forest Fire Prevention in Hunan Province, people's governments at all levels shall organize and urge relevant departments to do a good job in forest fire prevention all the year round. The period from June 10 to April 30, 2008 is the forest fire prevention period in the whole province, and the people's governments of counties (cities, districts) can stipulate the forest fire prevention period in this area according to the natural conditions and fire occurrence laws in this area. During the forest fire prevention period, the relevant departments must comply with the following provisions:

(a) the fire prevention headquarters office or the competent forestry department is on duty day and night;

(2) fire lookout (sentry);

(3) The fire fighting team is in a state of war;

(4) Meteorological departments shall, according to the requirements of forest fire prevention, timely provide medium and long-term weather forecast, forest fire weather forecast and high fire weather forecast, and newspapers, radio and television departments shall timely release forest fire weather forecast and high fire weather warning.

Other forest fire prevention regulations.

"Measures for the Implementation of Forest Fire Prevention in Hunan Province" Article 6 People's governments (administrative offices) of provinces, cities, prefectures (regions) and counties (cities, districts) under their jurisdiction shall organize forestry, public security, planning, finance, transportation, materials, commerce, supply and marketing, post and telecommunications, meteorology, health and civil affairs.

The township (town) people's government may set up a forest fire prevention headquarters according to actual needs, and designate personnel to be responsible for daily work. Counties (cities, districts) and townships (towns) without forest fire prevention headquarters shall respectively perform the duties of forest fire prevention headquarters by the competent forestry departments of counties (cities, districts) and the people's governments of townships (towns), and determine the personnel responsible for daily work.
