Why is Qinghai Lake called Erlang Sword Scenic Area?

It originated from the legend of the Han Dynasty and was recorded in Historical Records written by Sima Qian. According to the information contained in historical records, Erlang Sword is also called "kelp" and Tibetans call it "sea tiger". Located on the southeast coast of Qinghai Lake, it is a long and narrow land lifting belt with a width of about 100 step and a length of about 25 kilometers. It didn't go into the sea from south to north. It was like a long sword at first. There is such a record in ancient books: "A dike on the south bank, which is not more than a hundred steps wide, flows north for dozens of miles, but reaches the seaside directly, and is called kelp." Erlangjian has become a dazzling pearl in Qinghai Lake tourist area because of its special geographical location, ecological natural resources mainly including grasslands, beaches and animals, and folk cultural activities. So Qinghai Lake is also called Erlang Sword Scenic Area.
