Brief introduction of Digou town

Digou Town is located in the northeast of Yingshang County. In 2005, it was rated as a national AAAA tourist scenic spot. It is one of the first ten national garden towns, a national development and reform pilot town, a national town with beautiful environment, a national key town, a central town in Anhui Province, the first civilized town in Anhui Province and a strong town in Anhui Province. The Ditch National Wetland Park under construction in China is the second largest national wetland park in Anhui Province after Huangshan Taiping Lake National Wetland Park. It borders Hefei River in the west to the north, Jiji River in the south, and Fengtai in Huainan and Lixin in Bozhou. Yingli Road on Provincial Highway 224 runs through the whole territory. It has jurisdiction over two communities, seven village committees and China Digou Economic Development Zone. Digou Town, formerly known as Tangdian Township, was renamed as a town from 1999 to 65438+February, and was renamed as Digou Town with the approval of the provincial government in February 2007.
