Does it rain much when it is particularly hot in summer?

When it rains, there must be clouds. When warm and humid air near the ground rises and meets cold, water vapor condenses to form clouds. After the water droplets or ice crystals in the cloud gradually become larger, the air can't support it, and it is rain that falls. It can be seen that rain must meet two conditions: first, there must be moist and warm air; Second, the air should have a strong upward movement. In summer, the southeast wind blowing from the sea often makes the sea wet.

At the same time, the sun shines directly on the ground in summer, which is hotter than other seasons, and the air near the ground is also the hottest, which is easy to produce strong upward movement. So it rains a lot in summer.

There are four kinds of rain in summer:

1. When cold air from the north collides with warm air from the south, the rain falls on a large cloud and rain area.

2. The warm and humid air near the ground rises sharply, forming thunderstorms under thunderstorm clouds.

3. Typhoon rainstorm brought by typhoon.

4. The warm and humid airflow is blocked by the hillside, and when it rises along the hillside, it condenses into topographic precipitation under the cloud.

Among them, the rainfall of cold and warm air confrontation is the largest, accounting for almost 60% of the annual rainfall.

Although the weather is very hot in summer and there is warm air from the south, the cold air from the north has not completely subsided in winter, and it is easy to form a scene of heavy rain confrontation. At the same time, the summer weather is hot, and the air is often in a top-heavy unstable state, which is easy to rise along the hillside, creating conditions for topographic precipitation. In addition, typhoons and thunder and lightning are also specialties in summer, which are rare in other seasons. In this way, there is naturally more rain in summer than in other seasons.
