First stop: Qingcheng Mountain
"South Wudang, North Shaolin, Emei Buddhism, explore this book to Qingcheng". Qingcheng Mountain, as a holy land of Chinese Taoism and a world cultural heritage, is also the birthplace of Qingcheng Wu, one of the four major martial arts schools in ancient China. Make Qingcheng Mountain your first stop, because this is the source of inspiration for "Kung Fu Panda 2"! It's amazing! Do you think the "Peace Valley" in the play looks like the ancient buildings in Qingcheng Mountain? Moreover, the Kung Fu protagonist in the play, who is profound in Chinese Tai Chi, is also because the artistic director of "Kung Fu Panda 2" Raymond Zibach was lucky enough to see Qingcheng martial arts master Liu Suibin leading his disciples and Tai Chi enthusiasts to perform Tai Chi together in Qingcheng Mountain. Raymond Zibach was deeply impressed by his neat and elegant punches.
Qingcheng Mountain, the entire mountain is green and evergreen all year round. It is surrounded by peaks and looks like a city wall, hence its name. There are thousands of steps in the elixir, and the winding path leads to secluded areas, which are won by their purity. Since ancient times, it has been known as "Qingcheng Mountain is the most secluded in the world". It is as famous as the heroes of Jianmen, Emeixiu and Kuimen. Qingcheng Mountain is backed by the Minjiang River thousands of miles away, overlooking the Chengdu Plain. It is known as the "Thirty-six Peaks", "Eight Big Cave", "Seventy-two Small Cave" and "One Hundred and Eight Scenes". Of course, tourists can experience the tranquility of Qingcheng Mountain and feel the charm of Qingcheng martial arts!
Kung Fu performances not to be missed: "Extremely soft and then extremely strong" Qingcheng Xuanmen Tai Chi, Qingcheng Sword, one of the four major sword schools in China.
As the saying goes, kindness is like water. Qingcheng martial arts belongs to water among the five elements, also known as "water boxing". Water is everywhere, pervasive, extremely weak, yet extremely powerful. Weak hands can pick it up and drop it at will; steel is as strong as water under the eaves, and can pierce stone slabs if it drips for a long time. It is said that a drop of water can penetrate a rock. If a flood breaks out, it can wash away walls and houses. If the river is strong, it can carry or capsize a boat!

Many of the moves of the Emei School are also feminine, such as holding a flower on one side, inserting a plum blossom diagonally, placing one leg in the skirt, stepping on a lotus upside down, etc. In "The Art of Sword", Wenxi uses his pen to tell women to dust themselves off, learn calligraphy to wash their faces, and Yue women to pursue their souls, etc. In "The Hairpin-headed Phoenix", the posture is entirely that of a woman. Shaolin Temple is located at the southern foot of Zhongyue Songshan Mountain, 13 kilometers northwest of Dengfeng City, Henan Province. It is backed by Wuru Peak and surrounded by mountains. The peaks are connected and well-proportioned, forming a natural barrier for Shaolin Temple. In the eastern part of Shandong Province are Taishi Mountain and Shaoshi Mountain, each with 36 peaks. The peaks are famous. Shaolin Temple is located under the five peaks of Shaoshi Mountain with dense bamboo forests, hence the name "Shaolin". It has the reputation of "the ancestral temple of Zen Buddhism and the best temple in the world".
Shaolin Kung Fu is the largest martial arts school of the Han nationality, with more than 700 martial arts routines. It is also called "Wu Zen" because it brings Zen into martial arts, practicing martial arts, and practicing Zen. The gist is the unity of Zen and martial arts, "Don't think outside, don't think inside". The martial arts in Shaolin Kung Fu have been integrated into meditation. This is also the difference between Shaolin Kung Fu and other martial arts.

(2) When visiting Shaolin Temple, be sure not to step on every threshold, because in Buddhism, temple thresholds are very particular. It is said that it is unlucky to step on the threshold of a temple or Buddhist temple; some people say that the threshold is formed by the forehead of Sakyamuni. If you step on it, it is disrespectful to Buddha. (3) While watching a martial arts performance, a shout came from a nearby shopping store: "Come, you can get a free souvenir with the ticket in your hand." After watching, return to Tallinn. If you are too tired, you can take a battery car in the scenic spot for 10 yuan.
The fourth stop: Wudang Mountain
Wudang Mountain is also known as Taihe Mountain, Xieluo Mountain, Shenshan Mountain, and Shixian Mountain. In ancient times, it was called Taiyue Mountain, Xuanyue Mountain, and Dayue Mountain. Located in Danjiangkou, Shiyan City, northwest Hubei Province, it is a famous Taoist holy land and summer resort in China. It has a unique natural wonder of "seventy-two peaks and twenty-four continuous streams". It is known as "the unparalleled scenic spot in ancient times and the best fairy mountain in the world".
As Wudang in the history of kung fu, we have to mention its founder Zhang Sanfeng, a native of Yizhou, Liaodong, whose real name is Quanyi, also known as Junbao, Sanfeng, and Xuanxuanzi. Because of his ragged clothes and slovenly appearance, people called him Sloppy. The Wudang Neijiaquan he created uses Taoism as a stillness, and integrates Taoist inner elixirs, inaction, tranquility, weakness, and natural martial arts, forming a unique style that emphasizes gentleness and justice, with endless movements.
Kung Fu performance not to be missed: Wudang Tai Chi
There are two good places to watch Tai Chi Kung Fu on Wudang Mountain: Zixiao Palace and Xiaoyao Valley. Zixiao Palace is one of the only two true Taoist temples in the Wudang Mountain Scenic Area. More importantly, Zixiao Palace accepts Tai Chi enthusiasts from all over the world to study here all year round. Taoism is very enlightened, so there are many Taoist priests who teach carefully, and many scholars come here because of its reputation. Chinese Kung Fu has always paid attention to aura, and the aura of Zixiao Palace is very good.
Xiaoyao Valley is not the main attraction of Wudang, so there are relatively few tourists, but martial arts fans must not miss it! Because Xiaoyao Valley is a specialized performance venue, if the weather is good, there will be one performance in the morning and one in the afternoon every day. Visitors can focus on seeing the subtleties of Tai Chi, including fists, swords, whips, sticks, etc. For more than half an hour, experience the art of Wudang Tai Chi of "throwing a huge amount of weight, taking hardness from softness, and movement from slowness"!
Tourist Information Station:
1. Transportation: When going to Wudang, you usually go to Shiyan City first. There is a highway from Shiyan to Wudangshan Town, and the whole journey only takes one hour. You can get off at Wudangshan Toll Station on the section from Shiyan to Xiangfan of Hanshi Expressway. Buses from Wudang Mountain to Shiyan and Danjiang run every ten minutes; to Xiangfan every half an hour. There are long-distance lines in major domestic cities. Take the train to Wudangshan Station.
2. Accommodation: Accommodation on the mountain is definitely more expensive than at the foot of the mountain. Friends with sufficient funds can live on the top of the mountain (accommodation is concentrated near Crow Ridge) or live directly in Zixiao Palace, so that you can watch the sunrise from Golden Summit the next day. Friends who pursue interests can live at the foot of the mountain. There are many farmhouses, so you might as well compare the price and environment with others. However, if you want to catch the sunrise, you have to climb the Golden Summit at night, which is a different experience!
3. Food: Wudang Taoist fast food is very distinctive: vegetarian dishes are made with meat, such as gluten, dried tofu, bracken and other wild vegetables, and are made into fish, rabbit, beef, and pork. Wait for meat dishes to be named meat dishes, so they are called meat dishes. For example, the proud and fragrant braised beef, vegetarian sausages, fried prawns, Xuanmen braised pork, sweet and sour pork chops, barbecued pork anchovies, and Taoist pancakes will satisfy your appetite!
4. Notes: (1) As the saying goes, "The monk does not tell the name, and the Tao does not tell the destiny." Taoist practice is for longevity, so it is best not to ask people's age. There are many reasons to walk through the door. Don’t ask about their life experiences if you don’t know them well. (2) Many areas in Wudang Mountain are uninhabited. If you are not familiar with the terrain or are not well prepared, please do not enter hastily. You'd better ask a local tour guide. (3) Pomegranate, plum, safflower, chicken, dog, etc. It should not be included in the mountain tribute. Do not eat wild geese, eels, turtles, soft-shell turtles, cows, dogs, pork, raw onions, leeks, garlic, ginger, etc. Don't drink. These are taboos for Emperor Zhenwu, the main god of Wudang.
