Among them, the grafting survival rate of jujube trees is the highest from April to May, and the temperature and humidity at this time are the most favorable for its growth.
2. Splitting method: grafting jujube trees by splitting method can be carried out in March-April. First, we should choose cuttings that are disease-free and grow well, then use tools to cut off one layer of the prepared big rootstock, then use a knife to cut a hole in the center of the fracture of the rootstock, and finally insert the cuttings into the incision of the rootstock and wrap the jujube tree with plastic.
3. Subcutaneous grafting: jujube trees can be grafted subcutaneously from April to May. First, cut the bottom of the cuttings into an inclined plane with scissors, and then insert them obliquely downward along the incision of the rootstock. Be careful not to insert all cuttings, it is necessary to expose a little cuttings wound to promote the rapid healing of jujube wounds.
