Hiking through the ancient village of Tanmiquanping, the highest peak in Youxian County.

For me who love outdoor sports, it's a bit painful to have no time to participate in this activity this year.

I saw a news about outdoor hiking the other day and couldn't wait to sign up. The weather forecast says it will rain that day, and I am determined to take part in it, rain or shine.

? This hiking activity is a one-day tour to explore the uninhabited canyon in Quanping Ancient Village, Youxian County. Quanping ancient village is located in the hinterland of Taihe county, the highest peak in Youxian county, and there are ancient villages that preserve the original style. There are all kinds of rare plants and thousands of yew and maple trees; There is an ancient tea ceremony with a long history; There are residential houses and Qingshi arch bridge built in Qing Dynasty; There are primitive ancient papermaking workshops, and you can also experience the papermaking process yourself.

Early in the morning, nearly forty outdoor enthusiasts took eight cars and walked for nearly two hours. They arrived at the parking spot, which is also the starting point of this hike-the ancient village of Quanping, Taihe Xianyinkeng, Youxian County. This is the highest peak in Youxian County, bordering Chaling County. As soon as we got off the bus, everyone was attracted by the beautiful scenery in front of us. Looking around, the trees are lush, the bamboo forests are like the sea, the clear streams are gurgling, and the fresh air inhales the fragrance, sweetness and rustic earth breath. Let us who have lived in downtown areas for a long time and struggled helplessly in the smog feel refreshed and happy. Everyone cheered, full of energy, braved the drizzle and headed for the mountains.

? The first thing that catches your eye is a stone tablet of "Youcha Ancient Road" at the bridgehead of Qingshiban, which stands beside the ancient road. The ancient road bends and extends upward, leaving a mark of historical vicissitudes on the stone ladder made of each stone. Walking on the ancient road, there is an impulse and desire to find the past history. Recall the story of our ancestors rushing on this ancient road for life and survival.

We alternate walking along ancient roads and now open country roads. The road twists and turns, and there is a deep canyon at the foot of the mountain. We only heard the sound of running water and unknown birds singing. The mountain in the distance is shrouded in mist, like a beautiful girl, with a faint veil on her face, which adds to the charm here and makes the mountain gentle.

At noon, I walked to the long-awaited ancient residence in Quanping Village. The first thing you see is a towering tree, a precious yew tree with a history of 1200 years. Its big branches and leaves are lush and vigorous, standing at the entrance of the village, just like a mighty guardian, guarding the hardworking and kind people here, generation after generation, endless.

Most of the houses in the village still retain their original architectural features, such as adobe buildings, stone foundations, wooden windows and wooden waist doors. The old ones still retain the plaque and carving techniques. Although it is now dilapidated, it still retains the exquisite craftsmanship of the builders and the wealth of the householders. At present, most villagers still live in such earthen houses and live a comfortable and peaceful life.

At the entrance of the village, there is a Qingshi arch bridge built in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, which straddles a crystal clear stream. This stone bridge is both beautiful and strong. Despite the ups and downs of 100 years, it still carries the convenience of people's production and life here. Now seeing its majestic posture, it is estimated that this stone arch bridge will bring long-term benefits to people here.

? At noon, we had a sweet and delicious farmhouse meal in our hometown. I usually eat a bowl of rice, but because the ingredients of the food are all local green food, it tastes unique and delicious. I ate three bowls of rice in a row. Really, I can't stand the temptation to eat or not.

? After dinner, we went to the indigenous papermaking workshop to watch and understand the technology and technology of indigenous papermaking. Many villagers here are engaged in this kind of paper-making work. Indigenous papermaking takes the abundant local bamboo as raw material. After bamboo is cut down, it is soaked in the mud pool for about 50 days, beaten into bamboo pulp, stirred and mixed with some raw materials, and then paper is made with simple and primitive tools. The villagers skillfully operated the grid, scooped up bamboo pulp evenly one by one, then spread it flat on the bamboo raft to dry, and then cut it into bundles for sale. This kind of earthenware paper is still very popular today, which is also the traditional way for villagers here to get rich by mountains and rivers.

The original ecological unmanned canyon is three kilometers long, and there are no paths in the canyon. The stream flows down the river, sometimes passing through the stone rapids, sometimes flowing gently and leisurely in the open fields, and sometimes there are small waterfalls. Trees are lush on both sides of the river, and all kinds of rare plants can be seen everywhere. There are maple trees that bloom like beautiful red butterflies; There are Liriodendron leaves like robes, also known as monk wood; There are also endangered species Cephalotaxus fortunei, wild ginseng, wild orchids and various wild fruits ... this is a paradise for plants. Under the leadership of the team leader, the team members walked carefully in the rocky stream, and there was no way to take shape. Although everyone is very cautious, there are still players who accidentally step into the water when crossing the rock flow from time to time, causing screams and laughter. When they see wild fruits, everyone is as excited as children to pick them in various ways. Many players picked a lot of herbs, flowers and wild fruits along the way, and their backpacks were full.

During the one-day hiking trip, dozens of hikers enjoyed the beautiful scenery in the depths of this mountain. Whether old friends or new friends, everyone feels at home, taking care of each other, singing and laughing all the way, and enjoying hiking all the way.

Someone asked me if I was tired of walking. I said that walking is not tiring, so it is not attractive. Someone asked, why go hiking when you are so tired? I said, only those who have experienced such tiredness know its happiness. Because every hike is a vivid geography class, biology class, history class and folk custom class. It has endless fun, and only participation can appreciate its charm.
