A warm and cool river.

Wenliang River is formed about 3km southwest of Taishan Street, northwest of Zhai Shihe Village, southeast of Xiaoqiaozhuang and east of Huang Peng Village. When the weather is clear, from a distance, a long hill extends from north to south to the south of Xiaoqiaozhuang. At this point, Changshan came to an abrupt end, and a big river flowing from east to west stopped it, named Shihe.

On a sunny day in summer, a very strange phenomenon appeared in the section where the Red River meets the Shihe River: from 2 pm to 5 pm, the water in the north is extremely hot and the water in the south is very cold. At night, the opposite is true. The water temperature is low in the north and high in the south. How did this strange natural phenomenon come into being?

The Red River originates from Shimen Reservoir, Guanzhuang Town, Biyang County. It is a big river with a wide channel. Originated from a stone river in a mountain in Guanzhuang town, the river is narrow in depth. The sand deposited in the Red River is particularly thick, the river is very shallow, and the sand absorbs heat and is easy to be exposed to the sun. Stone river is several meters to dozens of feet deep, with narrow channels and cold water.
