When will the Baipu section of Provincial Highway 226 start?

Construction is expected to start in 2023. S226, also known as Jerry Lee Highway or Provincial Highway 226, starts from Chenjiagang Town, Xiangshui County in the north and ends at Baoli Town, Hai 'an City in the south. The Baipu section of the provincial highway is affected by multiple factors such as epidemic situation, weather, land acquisition and engineering change, which leads to the slow progress of the project. The project is expected to start construction in 2023 with a construction period of 24 months. The provincial highway is an important north-south passage connecting Xiangshui County of Yancheng City and Hai 'an City of Nantong City, passing through three counties, two districts and two cities, with a total length of about 300 kilometers.
