Humans can actively change the climate, but a little carelessness will lead to the deterioration of the earth's environment, making the earth no longer suitable for human survival, so the most widely used technology at present is small-scale application such as artificial rainfall.

There are all kinds of dust particles floating in the earth's atmosphere, which have a certain shielding effect on sunlight, but too high a concentration will strongly isolate solar energy, just like the steam formed by the evaporation of asteroids hitting the earth in history, causing a "nuclear winter." With the rise of the earth's temperature, a few scientists suggest that the earth can be cooled by throwing dust at high altitude, but the earth's atmospheric environment itself is constantly changing, and it is difficult to calculate how much dust can be reduced to the ideal temperature. If it is excessive, it may lead to terrible consequences similar to nuclear winter.

Human activities are also constantly changing the environment. The once-in-a-few-year El Nino phenomenon is due to the abnormal ocean temperature, which turns the cold current of the ocean into a warm current, causes the change of monsoon belt flowing through this area, and causes great changes in temperature and precipitation. On the contrary, La Nina phenomenon, the abnormal low temperature of seawater strengthened the cold current in Peru. In order to cope with this extreme meteorological phenomenon, human beings are also looking for ways to reduce the frequency.

Science can control the climate, but not now. Now only a part can be controlled, such as: artificial rainfall; Use artillery to hit heavy rain to reduce the harm of hail disaster to agricultural production; Use anti-frost machine in fruit area to prevent frost from damaging flowers and fruits. These scientific climate control measures have greatly helped agricultural production and reduced many natural disasters. Although only part of the climate can be controlled under the current conditions, I believe that in the near future, the climate will be completely controlled by science.

Science in the future will certainly control the climate. At present, science has been able to detect weather changes, change local temperature and humidity and artificial rainfall, and know the methods to control climate, but it has not yet created great energy to control climate!
